Bad Boys 3 Is Happening Very Soon Says Will Smith

One of the more anticipated sequels coming up is Bad Boys 3, which is tentatively titled Bad Boys for Life. Star Will Smith has confirmed numerous times that he will be back both in front of and behind the camera. And that his co-star Martin Lawrence is also returning. But there seems to be some kind of hold up. The movie is supposed to hit in January 2018. But so far, everyone involved has remained relatively quiet. Now, Will Smith has given an update. And it appears that production is set to begin soon.

Sony Pictures announced Bad Boys 3 nearly two years ago. And ever since, we've had to rely on speculation and rumor, and the occasional Will Smith update. The actor was on the fence about returning to his role as Detective Mike Lowrey, and for a while, it seems like he might just take a backseat as a producer, »

Transformers: The Last Knight Trailer Is Here and It's Crazy

The robots in disguise are coming back to the big screen next summer. Will they be more than meets the eye this time around? Hard to say, but they are slightly less disguised now, because the first trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight has finally arrived. Paramount unleashed the trailer for Michael Bay's fifth installment of the franchise and like it or not, this movie is most definitely happening.

We knew that the trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight would be arriving before the end of the year thanks to a Facebook live video Michael Bay did in October. Luckily he and Paramount didn't wait until the last minute and make it a New Year's Eve gift for fans. Instead, they decided to get the hype train (hopefully) moving on the fifth Transformers movie sooner rather than later. That is probably good, because everything we have heard about the »

Fist Fight Trailer #2: Ice Cube and Charlie Day Throw Down

Back in September, just as the school year was getting started, Warner Bros. debuted the first trailer for the upcoming comedy Fist Fight, which hits theaters February 17, 2017. Fist Fight stars Ice Cube and Charlie Day as two high school teachers prepared to solve their differences the hard way. Today, we have the second trailer with even more new footage of what could be a huge comedy hit early next year, along with the new poster. This raucuous show down will have plenty of competition standing in its way, though.

Fist Fight will go up against Universal's action-adventure The Great Wall, starring Matt Damon, 20th Century Fox's thriller A Cure For Wellness, starring Dane DeHaan and Sony's horror film Patient Zero, starring Natalie Dormer. It will also open one week after a trio of highly-anticipated movies arrive on February 10, 2017, Universals' Fifty Shades Darker, Lionsgate's John Wick: Chapter Two and Warner Bros. »

Why Michael Bay Will Never Direct a Marvel or DC Movie

We're just mere hours, perhaps even minutes, away from the big Transformers: The Last Knight trailer reveal. While we await that exciting footage, we have some interesting new thoughts on the superhero genre from none other than the director of Transformers 5 himself, Michael Bay. While he seems to enjoy watching the DC and Marvel icons battle on screen, don't expect to see him coming aboard a future project for either studio.

The director was recently interviewed by Collider, where Bay divulged his admiration for certain superhero movies, such as the original Iron Man starring Robert Downey Jr. While he's interested in watching movies like Captain America: Civil War and Batman V Superman, he has no vested interest in trying to make such stories come to life himself. And he has a pretty good reason why.

Transformers: The Last Knight is not only the fifth movie in Paramount's lucrative robots in disguise franchise, »

Vin Diesel Teases Groot Vs. Hulk Fight, Rocket Raccoon Spin-Off

The first official teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 debuted over the weekend, and the response has been nothing shy of electric. One of the things the collective internet is on fire about is Baby Groot, who we got a great look at in this trailer. Vin Diesel has once again returned to provide the voice, but he has big plans for the character in the future, which includes a fight with the Hulk.

The Fast and Furious actor recently spoke with Screen Junkies about the future of Groot after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and based on what he had to say, it sounds like Groot will be all grown up again before we know it. Baby Groot doesn't seem like he would present much of a challenge for Hulk, a fight which Vin Diesel seemed confident we will see in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at some point. »

Why Spawn Creator Todd McFarlane Needs to Direct the Reboot

The Spawn Reboot is still very much alive, but creator Todd McFarlane has been talking about the movie long enough now that we are starting to wonder if it is ever, really going to happen. It turns out part of the delay has to do with the fact that Todd McFarlane is totally committed to directing the movie himself. Not only that, but according to him, it will be a comic book movie, but definitely not like the first Spawn movie was and most certainly not like most of the comic book movies we are currently seeing released.

Todd McFarlane recently spoke with Comicbook.com about the project and offered a pretty significant update. Some of his comments mirror things that he has said before, but he goes into a lot of detail about what he plans to do with the movie and how he is planning to approach it. »

5 December 2016 7:57 AM, PST

Back in December 2015, just days before Star Wars: The Force Awakens hit theaters, LucasFilm president and producer Kathleen Kennedy spoke about the possibility of bringing on a female filmmaker for a future Star Wars movie. As of now, only the third Star Wars spin-off does not have a filmmaker attached yet, although another report revaled Disney is planning on releasing a new Star Wars movie once a year, indefinitely, so there will be a lot of new movies coming in the future. During a press conference for Rogue One, in theaters December 16, Kathleen Kennedy revealed that she has met with a number of female directors.
