New Sharknado 2: The Second One Trailer Literally Jumps the Shark

10 July 2014

Thankfully it has it's tongue firmly planted deep in it's cheek otherwise some may think that the new trailer for 'Sharknado 2: The Second One' is very full of itself. The new 2-minute long trailer features all the usual iffy-looking effects, flying quotes of praise and b-movie dialogue that we have come to expect from the SyFy franchise. It's generally utter ridiculousness all round all topped up with the stand-out moment of veteran actor Judd Hirsch ('Taxi') screaming out 'Holy shark'. The sequel stars Ian Ziering, Tara Reid ('American Pie'), Vivica A. Fox ('Idle Hands'), Mark McGrath, Kelly Osbourne, Andy Dick ('Employee of the Month'), Judah Friedlander ('30 Rock') and Perez Hilton. You can check out the new trailer below. »

Official One-Sheet for Tusk Revealed and Spin-Off Likely

'There are two characters in a convenience store in Tusk that you see for five minutes, very much Ronsencrantz and Guildenstern.' said Smith. 'I've built a whole movie around them and I have brought one of the other characters from Tusk back.' The spin-off is titled 'Yoga-Hosers' and even though it doesn't appear to be genre-related at all, it will at least see one of the characters from 'Tusk' return.
