Little Big Fillm Company and Open Fire Films Set to Raise The Toyol

Little Big Film Company and Open Fire Films have agreed to co-produce the new psychological horror feature 'The Toyol'. The movie is inspired by an eerie Malay folktale and is set to be directed by Brian Kazmarck ('Terminal Legacy'). Russell Southam and Brian Smith are on board as producers and the project is tentatively scheduled to begin shooting in Spring 2014. A Toyol or Tuyul is a mythical spirit in Malay mythology of South-East Asia. Head below to check out the plot details »
Toilet Humour Shared on New Stalled Poster

The latest comic horror venture from 'Freak Out' creators Christian James ('Kill Keith') and Dan Palmer ('Evil Aliens') is new British zombie flick 'Stalled'. The project will be hitting the Us courtesy of Uncork'd Entertainment and Odin's Eye this coming October where it'll be receiving a limited theatrical run. Which will in turn follow up with a home release during November. Exact dates are still to be nailed down but in the meantime the movie has managed to piggy-back onto another zombie movie that is enjoying success at the box office currently. The new teaser poster manages to parody and take a literal massive sh#t on the artwork of 'World War Z'. Some Early Plot Details Revealed for Jurassic Park 4

Thankfully last week it was confirmed that 'Jurassic Park 4' was back in pre-production after its recent but brief hiatus. And now the project due to be helmed by Colin Trevorrow ('Safety Not Guaranteed') and written by Amanda Silver, Rick Jaffa, Derek Connolly and Trevorrow has had some initial plot details revealed. Word is that the action will indeed return to the original island featured in the first 'Jurassic Park' movie Isla Nublar and a whole new park has been built. Not only that but it's running successfully and gaining huge numbers of visitors. The wildlife however now due to the disastrous events that previously occurred at the park have been 'tamed' somewhat. But a 'new' dinosaur still manages to cause a certain degree of havoc on the island putting the visitors in mortal danger. Head below for the full plot details. »
Dom Franklins The Church Moves into Post-Production

Paramount Ready to Prep a Sequel to World War Z

New blockbuster zombie flick 'World War Z' has managed to score an impressive opening weekend and notched up a huge $111+ million in box-office takings. So it comes as no surprise that the Max Brooks adaptation will be getting a sequel. Vice chairman Rob Moore over at Paramount Pictures has confirmed that the Summer hit will be sequelised just a few days after star and producer Brad Pitt hinted at the fact that more 'World War Z' could be on the way. Originally planned to be a trilogy the idea for such a vision was quickly halted after the various production problems that the movie faced but now the money is rolling in it looks like these plans could be bought back to the table.
