Two Beauties to be Bloodied in Osgood Perkins' February

A few casting details are being announced for the horror thriller February. Actress Emma Roberts of "American Horror Story," will star, along with Kiernan Shipka (Carriers). This film will be produced by Unbroken Pictures and Paris Film, Inc. In the film, two women are left alone at an all-girls prep school and an invisible force is looking for a body to possess. February will be developed by Osgood Perkins, the son of Anthony Perkins (Psycho). February will find itself at the Toronto International Film Festival this year. The Australian shot horror title Lemon Tree Passage has an exciting trailer. The clip shows several new friends and a ghostly light. Released in the land of Oz through Odin's Eye Entertainment, Lemon Tree Passage has not found North American distribution, as of yet. A Killer Camera Takes Your Picture in this Preview for SyFy's Dead Still

The SyFy Network will debut a dark tale this October. The film is titled Dead Still. And, the film deals with a camera, which is possessed by the supernatural. The film stars Ben Browder ("Farscape"), Ray Wise (Jeepers Creepers), Gavin Casalegno (When the Game Stands Tall), and Elle Lamont ("From Dusk Till Dawn"). Several stills from the film are hosted here. For more on the story, after the death of Brandon's (Browder) great grandfather, he inherits an antique camera. The camera holds a power, to kill those it photographs. Bizarre accidents take place, after Brandon tempts fate. A Tale of Fatherly Love and the Undead with Lionsgate's Maggie

Lionsgate Entertainment has acquired distribution rights for the zombie thriller Maggie. This film was expected to premiere at the Toronto Int. Film Festival. However, this premiere date will be delayed. Instead, Maggie will be released later in 2015. This film, which is officially complete, involves a zombie virus, which infects a young woman; her father is powerless to save her. Fans will recognize several of the cast from the film, including Arnold Schwarzenegger (The Terminator), Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), Joely Richardson (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) and Laura Cayouette. You Can Take a Trip Deep Below Ground in this Film Poster for The Pyramid

Cherry Tree Debuts Cursed Fruit in this Film Poster

Cherry Tree is another film coming this way via Ireland. Irish director David Keating is helming this feature, along with writer Brendan McCarthy. The film begins with a struggling family and a witches' coven. The film stars Anna Walton (Mutant Chronicles), Sam Hazeldine (The Monuments Men), Naomi Battrick and Patrick Gibson. The film's first poster is here. At the heart of the film grows a cherry tree. This cherry tree can help Faith's (Battrick) father, who is slowly dying. The tree's powers promise rebirth, but Faith must make a sacrifice, first. The film's poster shows a witch's gnarled hand and fruit from the tree. "The Dead Hour" Delivers Another Horrifying Episode with "Android Bride"

Tagline: "A horrorific love story." The online webseries "The Dead Hour" has released the second episode for season three. The latest episode is titled "Android Bride." Developed by Daniel B. Iske and Scott Coleman, the episode involves an engineer who designs the perfect woman - one made of nuts and bolts. The short film stars: Konrad Case, Illa Ridder, and Tara Hinson. Fans of horror or of short films can see the entire episode below. For more on the story, the engineer has programmed his doll to protect his home.
