24 Things Nobody Does Better than Donald Trump

There was a point today I actually thought that I might not write about Donald Trump but come on, who are we kidding here?  As long as this guy’s in office there’s just no chance that I won’t write something, no matter how short.   The latest on Trump as we all know involves the new reversal on transgender bathroom policy in schools.  We covered that earlier by sharing a Stephen Colbert clip. The other news I felt was interesting today is that Trump continues going after the media.  This time he mocked CNN by calling it the Clinton News Network.

Anyone Else Pumped to See Mr. T on “Dancing with the Stars?”

By far the best news of today other than the fact it’s Friday is that we have confirmation that none other than Mr. T will be joining the upcoming cast for Dancing with the Stars.  It was also revealed that super gymnast and Gold Medalist a million times over, Simon Biles, will also be on the show.  Normally the full cast for DWTS doesn’t get announced for another few months but according to a new report, we already know two of the famous faces who will compete for the mirrorball trophy. Biles has been a highly sought after contestant after

The Blacklist Review: Reddington’s Survival Depends on Finding “The Apothecary”

For leading into a spin-off premiere, I have to give this episode of The Blacklist some credit. It didn’t even Mention the spin-off that was to follow. I was worried that their “winter finale” would be entirely about set up for the forthcoming Redemption premiere, but I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised in that regard. Instead, the story focused on Reddington’s crumbling life and enterprise. More on that later. This week on The Blacklist: The task force assists Reddington by searching for the blacklister called “The Apothecary”, who creates disease that is easily spread. Reddington has been poisoned and cannot remember his previous

San Diego’s JoJo “Cookin” Kincaid in 1987 is the Happiest Radio Announcer Ever

If you had the fortunate circumstance of living in San Diego in the 1980s and liked to listen to the Q-106 radio channel you might remember a guy by the name of JoJo Kincaid.  For those of you who don’t know what radio sounded like back in 1987 this video (oddly enough) will give you an awesome indication.  But one thing we certainly didn’t have back in the 80s was the recording of airtime. Today for example, if you listen to a podcast or radio show on a satellite station there’s a very good chance you can actually watch said

The Curse of Oak Island Creator Not Optimistic about a Season 5

While we still don’t have a definitive answer yet, things are looking less and less likely that there will be a Curse of Oak Island season 5.  After fans were left disappointed by the season 4 finale, immediate questions were raised after the show.  The biggest question was whether or not Rick and Marty Lagina would continue on the show with another season.  Prior to the finale there were already rumblings that a season 5 was looking grim.  Millions were spent on season 4, Rick and Marty missed their families from having to leave for 4-5 months at a time,

The Big Bang Theory Review: “Comic-Con”, Growing Up Present a “Conundrum”

After 10 seasons, it’s extremely difficult for shows to stay fresh and original. The Big Bang Theory still goes strong at this age because they continue the growth of their characters beyond reasonable expectation. Long ago, watching Big Bang in high school and college, I was sure that Penny and Leonard would never get married, or that Sheldon and Amy would never be able to have a physical relationship. But, just as the theme song dictates a brief evolution timeline, so the characters have also “evolved”, and “The Comic-Con Conundrum” was a perfect reflection of said evolution. This week on The Big Bang Theory: Raj puts

Christine Dolce Aka ForBiddeN on MySpace Dies at 35

The death of former Myspace star Christine Dolce, who was better known on the social media network as “ForBiddeN” is actually something pretty personal to me.   Back in the very early days of Myspace, Dolce had a then record 2.1 million friends.  In the modern day she’d be the biggest Instagram or Twitter star.  To be 100% honest I don’t even think I would have a career if not for some of the bigger stars of Myspace.  Back when Myspace was huge I used to post pictures of those popular “stars” and write commentary about them just like you see

What is Seinfeld Really About? This Video Attempts To Answer the Question

You know it’s a good day when you get to post not one, but two things about Seinfeld.   To this day, nearly 20 years later we know that Seinfeld was a show about “nothing” but what does that really mean?  Is there more to the show than we realize?  Could we be missing vital information all these years later?  I just came across a new video that just may shed some light on some stuff. In the video you are about to see Seinfeld creators Larry David, Jerry Seinfeld, Kramer, George, Elaine explain what Seinfeld is actually about. Is this

The Goldbergs Review: “So Swayze It’s Crazy”

Sorry for missing last week! Life got in the way, and, while I watched the episode (“The Spencer’s Gift”), I didn’t have the chance to get a full review up. In short, though, last week’s episode was a really fun episode that explored both jobs and mall life in the 80s. It was a super fun episode, and I’ve been excited for more ever since. Let’s take a look at this wee’s new episode of The Goldbergs, “So Swayze It’s Crazy.” The main story this week deals with Adam deciding that he’s ready to be famous after realizing that he knows

Zoolander is Real: Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid Just Modeled in Garbage

For those of you who have seen Zoolander you’ll remember that in the final scene of the movie Derek’s modeling for the “Derelicte” campaign which was really just a play on “derelict.”  The entire campaign was based on the dirty refuse of the city and inspired by the homeless.  While the fashion world isn’t shy about being bold, strange, and weird I never thought that actual trash would be used on the runway.  But I was wrong.  Taking a page right from the Zoolander story, the Moschino fashion show featured trash, literally. Kendall Jenner opened the Moschino show wearing a

Gold Rush: How Much is Todd Hoffman Worth?

As we head into a new episode of Gold Rush tonight, Todd finds monster nuggets on top of a mountain; Parker and Rick struggle with a conveyor; and Tony pits Monica against Kevin to see if the dredge is more efficient than a modern wash plant.  Who knows what’s going to happen?  Should be interesting but before diving into our next episode we wanted to take a closer look at Todd Hoffman, the funny bearded star of Gold Rush.  So how much do you think the star of a show and avid gold miner would be worth? Hoffman primarily accumulates

Man Men Cast Reunites and We’re As Excited as You Are

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been almost 2 years since the cast of Mad Men got together for the season finale.   There’s little to no chance of the show is ever coming back nor is there any talk of a spinoff.  Might I just interject by saying I think that’s exactly the way it should be?  Spinoff, maybe.  But don’t resurrect the show.  I feel the same way about another AMC classic, Breaking Bad.  Sure the door is open but just let it be.  Let the speculation stay speculation and know that you’ll always have a legendary hit to

How to Get Away with Murder Season Finale Review: Who Killed Wes?

It’s finally time for the answers to the biggest mystery so far on How to Get Away with Murder: who killed Wes? Let’s take a look at the two-hour season finale of the show, “He Made a Terrible Mistake” and “Wes.” Hoo boy. So, remember, Connor was present at the house on the night that Wes was murdered, and this explains a lot of why he’s acted the way that he has during this back-half of the season. In the beginning of this finale, he even almost kills himself by stepping in the front of a bus, but (luckily) doesn’t. He’s

Hazing Drama “Burning Sands” Gets First Trailer from Netflix

Netflix has debuted the official trailer for a film titled Burning Sands, which initially premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January this year. Directed by newcomer Gerard McMurray, making his feature debut, the film is about a fraternity pledge named Zurich played by Trevor Jackson.  The film explores an inner debate going on in Zurich’s head.  Does he keep his code of silence and honor the brotherhood or does he go public with all of the intense violence of his underground hazing experience? Personally I think this is an excellent potential plot.  The question will be how realistic will

Awesome Bob’s Burgers Cosplay Photoshoot Featuring Liz Katz and Sam Macaroni

I find this gallery to be pretty fortuitous because just today it was announced that Bob’s Burgers will be releasing a 112 song album in May.  Yes, 112 songs.  Bob’s, which is in its 7th season, is still going strong.  So strong that a couple decided that for Valentine’s day that they would dedicate their time to making an awesome Bob’s Burger’s cosplay photoshoot.   Liz Katz and boyfriend Sam Macaroni portrayed Bob and Linda Belcher from Bob’s Burgers. Here’s what they had to say about the experience: Sam (aka Bob) was able to track down an awesome restaurant for us

Blindspot Review: “Draw O Caesar, Erase a Coward”

We’re getting closer to the end of this season of Blindspot, so it’s time for some of the mysteries to start wrapping themselves up. Let’s take a look at what happened in this week’s new episode, “Draw O Caesar, Erase a Coward.” As we’ve seen time and again, Roman’s rehabilitation and memory recovery mirrors Jane’s in almost every way. That mirroring is often more of an exact replication, though, and we see that here with his training routine with Weller. Honestly, this isn’t very engrossing since we’ve seen it all before, but it is aided a tad by the reminder that Weller

Celebrate Twin Peaks Day with Creepy Revival Show Posters

Happy “Twin Peaks” day folks!  Don’t know what Twin Peaks Day is?  Shame on you.   “Twin Peaks” Day falls on Feb. 24, a day of remembrance for the day that the body of homecoming queen Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) was found wrapped in plastic in Twin Peaks. That was also the day that Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) arrived in the quaint northwestern town. He even marked the time when it happened. In honor of the unofficial holiday, Showtime has released two posters to tease the release of the upcoming revival.  Everyone is speculating as to what the tagline

Bill Maher Defends an Illicit Teacher-Student Relationship in 1998 Video

While it would be impossible to silence someone like Bill Maher I think we can safely say he’s regretting ever having Milo Yiannapoulos on Real-Time. While he may not publicly state that, Milo brought a ton of attention to his show. Then when Yiannopoulos’s pedophilia comments came out and he resigned from Breitbart, people began to focus on Bill Maher. The problem with drawing that much attention to yourself is that now people are going to be looking for anything and everything to nail you. Maher may have been nailed today. According to Deadline “Sunlight is the best disinfectant,” Bill

A Batman Board Game is Something We Could All Get Behind

With all of the crazy news out of the Batman universe, hearing about a potential board game makes me extremely happy.  Yesterday we posted the Injustice 2 trailer which looks pretty solid.  We already know that Matt Reeves is directing The Batman which will star Ben Affleck.   Hold on a sec.  Let me take a step back and say something. Is it safe to say that Batman will never be the same again without Christopher Nolan at the helm?  I’m just not sure I can ever get behind a Batman movie again unless I know in some way that Nolan

Guy Brings Old Pokemon Cards Back To Life By Repainting Them

You obviously don’t need me to tell you how popular the Pokemon Universe is.  Personally I think it’s just a matter of time before somehow and in some way, Pokemon invades politics and our entire culture is based on some kind of Pokemon policy.  But until that time we are left with the games, shows, collectibles and all the other fun stuff in the Pokemon Universe.  Speaking of which I just came across this gem today. There’s a guy out there who goes by the internet handle Lunumbra who has a very special talent.  According to him, here’s what he
