Homeland Season 2 Teasers: The Perfect Terrorist

6 August 2012 10:39 AM, PDT

Homeland Season 2 Teasers: The Perfect Terrorist

Homeland has put Brody in the best position to do the most damage in season two. Had the vest worked in the first season finale, he might have taken out a number of important American governmental figures, but eventually, the country would have recovered. The impact of his actions would no longer be felt and that's not what he had in mind when choosing the path he's currently on; he wants to make the country hurt, to weaken it immensely and bring about the type of pain he felt when Issa died. And that's all in the long-con.

In a lot of ways, Brody is indeed the "perfect terrorist", as the first Homeland teaser below mentions. He's a Caucasian war hero surrounded by a loving family; he's only been viewed as someone willing to die for his country and wanting to serve it any way that he can. »

Archer: Season 4 to Include a Bob's Burgers Crossover Episode

Archer: Season 4 to Include a Bob's Burgers Crossover Episode

According to Entertainment Weekly, we're about to get a whole lot of H. Jon Benjamin in a fourth season episode of Archer. In addition to voicing the title character of the critically-acclaimed animated comedy, Benjamin will be bringing Bob Belcher to the land of Isis in a crossover episode with Fox's Bob's Burgers. For those who may not watch both, Benjamin voices Belcher as well as Archer, so get ready to be mind freaked in the best way possible.

But what type of plot could bring the two men together in the same place at the same time? And would it make sense?

Benjamin notes: “It’s like a Bourne Identity-type plotline. It starts off with Archer as Bob, making hamburgers, but he doesn’t know that he’s Archer. He’s at the restaurant and these, like, I think Russian thugs come in, »

Sharon Osbourne Quits as America's Got Talent Judge

Sharon Osbourne Quits as America's Got Talent Judge

Sharon Osbourne has quite America's Got Talent, but it has nothing to do with a rumored feud with Howard Stern, or money.  In fact, it has nothing to do with America's Got Talent at all.  Sharon is calling it quits because her son Jack, who was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, was allegedly fired from the reality show Stars Earn Stripes after he revealed his diagnosis to the world.  Osbourne is calling this discrimination.

So far there hasn't been anything in the way of a response from NBC on her quitting America's Got Talent, which is on break for the Olympics at this point, or how they will move forward without her.  Considering the fact that Osbourne has gone public with these allegations, NBC probably won't try to work out a compromise since it would suggest that her allegations are true.

Grimm Season 2 First Look

6 August 2012 9:35 AM, PDT

Grimm Season 2 First Look

In its first season, Grimm had an episode centered on an underground fighting ring and introduced countless types of weaponry that Detective Nick Burkhardt had to become familiar with in order to survive. Though by no means gruesome, the show didn't poke its head into the sand regarding violence, with gun play and scenes of hand-to-hand combat finding their way into just about every episode. It was a necessary evil for Nick to become the hunter that he was meant to be, but with his confidence growing in his abilities, things are changing.

For the better, arguably, as Grimm promises Nick will become even more bad ass in the upcoming second season. The first season found the Portland police officer merely trying to figure out who the hell he was and what all of this new stuff meant, but now that he's had experience being a Grimm, »

Alphas: Malik Yoba and Erin Way Discuss Kat's Introduction Tonight!

Alphas: Malik Yoba and Erin Way Discuss Kat's Introduction Tonight!

Syfy's hit action-drama, Alphas, adds a beguiling new team member tonight in the form of petite, mysterious Kat. Talented Erin Way (Detroit 1-8-7, When You Find Me) plays young loner Kat whose Alpha ability is a touch-based memory skill, like an instant download, that unfortunately wipes away old memories to make way for the new. Malik Yoba (a.k.a. Agent Bill Harken) and the effulgent Way recently spoke with press, on separate dates, as the show neared the end of filming for Season Two.

In "Alpha Dogs" we peer into the underground world of Alpha fight clubs. Malik talks about the challenge of executing such a physical episode, "I had 3 fight scenes in a week. It was very physical. I remember being really tired and at one point saying, "I think I'm going to cry now." I get »

Breaking Bad 5.05 Preview - is Walt Backing Down, or Stepping Up?

6 August 2012 8:53 AM, PDT

Breaking Bad 5.05 Preview - is Walt Backing Down, or Stepping Up?

"Dead Freight" is the title of next week's Breaking Bad, and with a title like that you can imagine there is going to be some death, but in which story-line? As Mike very quickly arrived at the decision to off Lydia this week in "51", Walt's mind seemed to be somewhere else, yet very likely on a parallel track.  As unthinkable as it may seem, Walt could be considering whether he tries to salvage his relationship with Skylar, or eliminate this new threat to his Heisenberg lifestyle.  Either scenario would go smoother with the kids out of the house, so this sneak preview from next week's Breaking Bad really could support either theory.

If the parallel between the Lydia situation and the Skylar situation continues, we could see concessions made with equally potential subterfuge on the Lydia side of the story as well. »

True Blood Preview: Russell Wants Fairy Blood

6 August 2012 3:58 AM, PDT

True Blood Preview: Russell Wants Fairy Blood

The Vampire Authority put their Sanguinista plans into motion, plans that will end mainstreaming on True Blood and Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) is resisting this change. While this story is progressing at full speed, several others such as Terry's (Todd Lowe) smoke monster issue and the hate group that are after all supernatural beings concluded. This means that the war that is coming between humans and vampires will be taking center stage for the final three episodes.

Eric's lack of religious beliefs have been clear, even when he was high on Lilith's blood and he makes a plan to escape the Authority headquarters with the help of Vampire Mac/Molly (Tina Majorino). This plan also involves Bill (Stephen Moyer) who claims that he is 'lost' and is uncertain what to believe. When Eric mentions Sookie (Anna Paquin) this seems like it might be enough »

Teen Wolf 2.11 Previews: Could it Be The Final Countdown For Someone Tonight?

5 August 2012 10:21 PM, PDT

Teen Wolf 2.11 Previews: Could it Be The Final Countdown For Someone Tonight?

There are only two episodes of Teen Wolf left this season, but could tonight be the final countdown for someone close to Scott?

Last week, I mentioned just how much a bad ass and threat Gerard was to Scott and the rest of his pack, human and supernatural alike. However, Gerard acquired a new weapon last week by becoming the master to Jackson/the Kanima, which means hell has officially come to Beacon Hills and no one is safe at this point. Especially at a state championship lacrosse game where there is nothing but space and opportunity for Jackson to slice, dice, and hack his way through anything that gets in his way. If Gerard is that ruthless, then Scott better bring his 'A' game to combat this deranged lunatic. Here's a clip of Gerard meaning business as »

Big Brother 14 Week 1 Reset Hoh/Nominations - New Game, New Attitude, Same Drama

5 August 2012 9:28 PM, PDT

Big Brother 14 Week 1 Reset Hoh/Nominations - New Game, New Attitude, Same Drama

Even though I made proclamations about being done with Big Brother, something strange happened this weekend during the live feeds that was too good to ignore. However, I'm still irked like hell about this "reset," but not as pissed as Mike Boogie.

So what changed my mind about Big Brother? Simply put, Mike Boogie's reaction to being put back into the game. It was the most unpredictable reaction out of all the coaches and was easily the actual twist of the entire set up. The man didn't want to be there and I don't blame him. But alas, that's the way Big Brother rolls and he has to keep his place in the game to make it to the end. That is if the HGs don't wise up and knock the 4 coaches out immediately. Moving on. »

Treme Season 3 Trailer

5 August 2012 7:06 PM, PDT

Treme Season 3 Trailer

No one would fault the characters on Treme for giving up. After surviving one of the most devastating natural disasters in American history, they've each had to rebuild their lives on unsteady ground. With a bureaucracy that's proven to be more inept over time and fundamentally cracked personal and professional lives, they have a lot of obstacles standing between them and any sense of normalcy, which, until recently, has been more of a pipe dream that an inevitability.

But the New Orleans ground has slowly been firming up around Antoine, Ladonna, Albert, and the rest of the group of survivors that we've followed for two seasons. And with the gradual stability has come a renewed sense of hope and resiliency, as evidenced by the trailer for season three of Treme. They've made it through the worst part - they have their lives, they have their homes, and they have businesses that, »

The Real Housewives of New York City 5.10 Previews: School Is In For LuAnn

The Real Housewives of New York City 5.10 Previews: School Is In For LuAnn

After last week's Miami adventure with the horn dog named George, the Real Housewives of New York City returns, where the drama is ready and willing to welcome them back with open arms. But one person who missed out on the festivities was LuAnn de Lesseps, who was scolded by Carole Radziwill for asking one of her high-class designer friends for a dress that only people like Michelle Obama would wear. Well, school is still in session for LuAnn as she's about to be educated on the proper way to address Native Americans and on whether Jacques actually cares for her or not.

For LuAnn to be as educated on different cultures and what not, I find it odd that she would even be caught dead making fun of the Native American culture, or referring to them »
