Awkward. Season 2 Trailer Released

Awkward. Season 2 Trailer Released

Jenna Hamilton may have gotten her dream guy in the first season finale of Awkward, but that doesn't mean that her life will get any less awkward.

In fact, things might have gotten even more complicated, as evidenced by the season two trailer that finds our heroine fighting Matty's seduction tactics and her uncertain feelings toward Jake. And with the separation of her parents, which comes thanks to the note that her mother wrote, Jenna has a whole lot to deal with at the moment.

You'd think that Jenna would be taking that much more solace in her relationship with Jake, a source of stability and never-ending positivity, but it looks like her feelings might not be as intense as his are. And perhaps, the thought of them becoming that intense scares her, to the point that she turns to the less serious (and less adult) Matty. »

Beauty and the Beast Extended Preview: A Modern Re-Telling of the Classic Story

Smallville's Kristin Kreuk stars as Detective Catherine Chandler in The CW's Beauty and the Beast, which will be premiering this fall.

Years ago, Catherine witnessed the murder of her mother at the hands of two gunmen.  Two gunmen who also tried to kill her.  Fortunately for her - but not for them - someone (or something) managed to save her life by attacking the two men.  Everyone told her it must have been an animal, but she's convinced that her savior was human.

In the present day, Catherine is working as a homicide detective, along with her partner Tess.  A recent murder investigation leads them to Vincent Keller, a doctor who was reportedly killed years ago while serving in Afghanistan.  Of course, it's not long before Catherine realizes that Vincent is very much alive...and very, »

Wilfred: FX to Use Preview Episode to Promote Season 2

Wilfred: FX to Use Preview Episode to Promote Season 2

FX has announced a fairly innovative roll-out plan for the second season of Wilfred. Beginning on June 14th and running through the season premiere on June 28th, there will be a special preview episode available for viewing through several different platforms, including Video-on-Demand, Hulu, Yahoo TV, FXNetworks.com, and the Wilfred Facebook page. The episode is scheduled to air June 21st at 10:30 on the network before the series shifts back to 10:00 for its "official" season premiere.

Having a pilot or a season premiere being able to be viewed in advance has become a more regular thing recently, the likes of Awake, New Girl, Glee, Smash, Gcb, The River, and Hart of Dixie having been available before their official premiere date. But making an episode that isn't a pilot or premiere available is an unusual move, though it could potentially pay off quite well. »

Jane by Design Sneak Peeks: Jane Gets Caught in the Middle of Jeremy and Eli

Jane by Design Sneak Peeks: Jane Gets Caught in the Middle of Jeremy and Eli

The introduction of Eli into the world of Jane by Design and Donovan Decker was bound to cause a major ripple effect. Gray's nephew being named the replacement for India immediately put his credentials in the spotlight, as nobody really knew who he was, where he came from, or what experience that he had in the fashion world aside from who his aunt is. He may be able to talk a big game about the love he has for design,  but does he have the goods to back it up?

According to Jeremy, at least, he doesn't, but then again, maybe Jeremy's not the most impartial of parties to go by. Not only did Eli take the job of his former flame, he managed to come through the door flirting with Jane and since »

America's Next Top Model: College Edition: Details Emerge for Cycle 19

America's Next Top Model: College Edition: Details Emerge for Cycle 19

The 19th cycle of Top Model may be months away from premiering, but it's never too early to get a better idea of how the show will look, particularly after the extreme makeover it received after cycle 18. The show had typically only made minor adjustments from cycle to cycle, mostly within the judging panel, but going into the College Edition, things are going to be quite different than any Top Model fan is used to.

Let's start with the prize pack, which has grown in both volume and variety in recent times on Top Model. The girls from cycle 19 will have the typical modeling contract (with La/NY models), but the show has adopted three new partners in Smashbox Cosmetics, Nine West and Nylon Magazine. Rather than the CoverGirl contract that has been on Top Model from day one »

Emily Owens, M.D. Extended Preview: Dr. Owens and the High School Hospital

Once you graduate from the highest level of higher education that you plan to go through, there's an expectation that things from here on out will be so much better than before. No more tests, no more annoying cliques, no more having to be needlessly competitive and ranked against your peers - the world of adulthood seems to have so much promise. For Dr. Emily Owens, though, graduating from med-school took her immediately back to the horrors of high school.

On Emily Owens, M.D., The CW's newest medical drama, the cliques and general inadequacy that the title character thought she outgrew have come back to haunt her in her professional life. Once at the top of the hill in her graduate program, Emily is now at the bottom of the totem pole, a lowly intern that »

Californication: Jorge Garcia to Guest Star

Showtime has announced that Lost alum Jorge Garcia will be stopping by Californication for one episode. Garcia, last seen on Fox's Alcatraz, will be playing an "old contact" of Maggie Grace's character Faith, a rock-n-roll groupie that has to balance her Catholic religion with the wild lifestyle she leads. Grace, who can next be seen in midseason's The Following, may be getting a spin-off based on her nine-episode arc, which could reunite the former Lost castmates at least one more time.

The sixth season of Californication will be documenting the creation of a stage musical based on one of Hank Moody's works. Joining Grace and Garcia in guesting on the Golden Globe-winning comedy are Skid Row front man Sebastian Bach, 24 alum Sarah Winter, character actor Lee Arenberg, and comedian Tim Minchin, with Minchin playing Atticus Fetch, a rock star that works closely »

Misfits to Make Us Television Debut July 19th

Misfits to Make Us Television Debut July 19th

BAFTA-winning sci-fi drama Misfits will be making its stateside television debut this summer. Beginning Thursday, July 19th at 10:00, Logo will be airing the six-episode first season where a group of probationers are given supernatural powers during an electrical storm. Presumably, should the first season do well for Logo, seasons two, three, and as-yet-unaired four will be making their debuts as well.

The move makes sense for Logo. Misfits isn't the first British import that they've acquired the rights to, having aired the likes of Beautiful People and Absolutely Fabulous, and with the channel's focus going away from Lgbt-themed programming, it's not the worst bridge between the old Logo and new Logo. Logo executive Marc Leonard called the program "the perfect series for our Logo viewers who will appreciate how the show's underdogs rise up, take center stage and start blurring the lines of morality, »

Breaking Pointe Preview: Will Big Decisions Be Made Tonight?

Did you tune in to the series premiere of Breaking Pointe last week?  Despite knowing absolutely nothing about dance, I'll admit that I was rather intrigued by the show, not to mention blown away by the kind of athleticism that the Ballet West dancers are capable of.  At the end of the premiere, we learned that one member of the company - Katie - was not offered a contract for the following season, forcing her to go off and audition for other companies in hopes of securing a new job.  But that's going put her boyfriend, Ronald, in an awkward position.

Here's what's in store for tonight's new episode: "Ronald is torn between staying with his brother Rex at Ballet West or leaving with girlfriend Katie, and he needs to decide soon because his signed contract is due. Rex sees that »

Pretty Little Liars Sneak Peeks: The Girls Are Tormented by a New 'A'. Plus, Jenna Returns

Pretty Little Liars returned this week with a shocking conclusion to the premiere episode: a new 'A' is in town.

Mona may have been content to play tricks on the girls, but the new 'A' seems to be far more dangerous.  Alison's body is missing from her grave, so should we assume that the new 'A' is behind that gruesome trick?  Whoever this person is, the girls are not prepared to sit around and wait for him/her to torment them freely.  This time they have experience on their side, and they're prepared to fight back.

They also have another weapon that could come in handy: Mona.  In the season 2 finale, Mona told Spencer that she hadn't been working alone, that there was a whole team behind her.  So now that the new 'A' »

Arrow Extended Preview: Oliver Queen Wants to Save Starling City...One Bad Guy at a Time

Confession: I didn't watch Smallville with any consistency.  But I've already screened the Arrow pilot and there's nothing that's going to stop me from getting into this show from the very beginning.

The attractive Stephen Amell plays Oliver Queen, a billionaire playboy who was marooned on an island five years ago when his family's yacht sunk in a devastating storm.  Fast-forward to the present, when Oliver has been rescued and returned to Starling City.  Welcomed back by his mother and sister, Oliver can't help but try to come to terms with the scars (literal and metaphorical) that he's sustained over the years.

But Oliver is hiding a dark secret: he's been tasked with cleaning up the corruption of his beloved city.  By day he tries to slip back into his playboy exterior, by night »

Supernatural Season 7 DVD and Blu-ray Release Date Announced

The seventh season of Supernatural put the Winchester brothers in a terribly lonely place.  After losing their good friend and ally Castiel at the beginning of the season, the writers systematically stripped away many things that they loved, including Bobby's house, their beloved Impala, and then Bobby himself.  Although both Castiel and Bobby returned towards the end of the season, it's clear that Team Free Will isn't what it once was.  Not to mention the fact that they spent the season dealing with flesh-eating monsters called Leviathans.

The Supernatural season 7 DVD and Blu-ray box sets will be released on September 18, 2012.

The box sets will include: "All 23 episodes, plus bonus material to include Featurettes, Commentaries, Deleted Scenes, a Gag Reel, and more! Exclusive to the Blu edition is an additional Featurette, and UltraViolet digital downloads of the episodes (available only in the USA, »

The Vampire Diaries Season 3 DVD and Blu-ray Release Date

The third season of The Vampire Diaries was dubbed "The Year of the Originals" and it was most certainly that.  Klaus - and plans to kill Klaus - dominated a lot of the action this past season.  But now that Elena died with vampire blood in her system in the season finale, we're going to assume that Elena's transition towards becoming a vampire will dominate the fourth season, which will premiere in the fall (click here for more details on The CW's 2012-2013 primetime schedule).

Do you want to relive some of the amazing moments of season 3 (Ripper Stefan, Damon and Elena's passionate kiss, and the return of Esther), among others?  You can, with The Vampire Diaries' season 3 DVD (5 discs) or Blu-ray (9 discs).  The collection will be released on August 28, 2012.

Rizzoli & Isles Season 3 Premiere Review: The Girls Blast Their Way Into a New Season

Rizzoli & Isles blasted its way into its premiere of Season 3 with a .45 caliber punch.  When a sting that has Dr. Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander) going undercover goes awry, her best friend, Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon), is forced to shoot Maura's biological father, Boston mob boss, Paddy Doyle (John Doman).  The cast and story run the gamut of emotions in exquisite style, making us laugh and cry in the same breath.

Alexander wrings every fear and hope of an adopted child seeking information from a biological and adoptive parents with haunting in her eyes and restrained expression that breaks your heart.  Harmon's reactions to her perceived betrayal by love interest, federal agent Gabriel Dean (Billy Burke), reflects the pain of every speed bump felt in a relationship that has gone off course.  With their characters' relationship strained beyond the breaking point, »

Dallas Preview: The Battle for Southfork Resumes This June!

The Ewing family returns to television in Dallas on TNT, a continuation of the original series.  A younger generation may have been added to the cast, but the fight for Southfork is still the same dirty fight as ever.

Dallas returns with a two-hour premiere in a few weeks, about twenty years after the original series ended.  Here's what we know about the premiere: "Television's first family of drama, sabotage, secrets and betrayal are gathering at Southfork Ranch for the upcoming wedding of Bobby’s adopted son, Christopher, to Rebecca Sutter. Although the occasion is joyous, an old family rivalry crosses generations after secret oil drilling on Southfork results in a major gusher. Everyone has his or her own agenda when the fight over oil and land threatens to tear the Ewings apart once again."
