Supernatural Jib Convention: Jared, Jensen, Sebastian, Misha's Resume, Richard & More (Photos)

Supernatural Jib Convention: Jared, Jensen, Sebastian, Misha's Resume, Richard & More (Photos)

Day 3 of the Supernatural Jib convention turned out to be a different kind of day.  While the entire convention was amusing, today seemed more about the actors letting loose and acting hilarious.  Day 1 and day 2 gave us a lot of good answers to questions about the show and day 3 gave us the Misha resume story (more on that soon).

All of the Supernatural boys were in fine form.  Putting Richard Speight, Jr., Sebastian Roché and Mark Pellegino together in a panel was a genius move, because what resulted was a nearly incomprehensible 40 minutes of hilarity.  It was impossible to transcribe, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Pranks

Jared did mention a recent prank that Jensen had played on him that he didn't mention yesterday.  He said that during the episode Jensen was directing in season 7, Jared had a scene where »

Once Upon a Time Sneak Peeks: Meet the Real Pinocchio. Plus, Emma Tries to Get Henry Back

29 April 2012 9:10 AM, PDT

Once Upon a Time Sneak Peeks: Meet the Real Pinocchio. Plus, Emma Tries to Get Henry Back

We're counting down to the Once Upon a Time finale now and this weekend's episode will delve into the world of Pinocchio and Geppetto, a story which hasn't yet been told in the fairytale world.  Just before the Queen's curse was to take effect in that world, Geppetto agreed to construct the wardrobe that will bring Snow and Charming's daughter to another world, but he insisted on a proviso that will save his own son.  We'll be seeing Pinocchio as a wooden doll and a real boy in this episode.

Meanwhile, Emma is determined to take Henry back from Regina after the mayor's involvement in the plot to frame Mary Margaret.  First, she approaches Mr. Gold for help, believing that he can represent her in court.  But he turns down her request.  Perhaps »

Tonight on Nurse Jackie: Jackie's Secret Gets Out

Tonight on Nurse Jackie: Jackie's Secret Gets Out

It had to get out sooner or later.

Word that Nurse Jackie Peyton, the nurse to end all nurses, had a problem with prescription pills and took two weeks off to go to rehab. It was only a matter of time, considering the close quarters that the trauma unit shares, but it has to sting that much more for Jackie to be uncovered. She's grown accustomed to doing whatever she wants whenever she wants and not having to explain herself, so to be confronted about her addiction by Zoey of all people must be tough to deal with. Obviously, Zoey's not indignant or judgmental about rehab, but the fact that even she knows now means that Jackie's accountability has to go even higher. The chance of her falling into the abyss of addiction lessens the more people know about it; Nurse Jackie »

Tonight on The Borgias: Rodrigo and Cesare Prepare for Battle

Tonight on The Borgias: Rodrigo and Cesare Prepare for Battle

Rodrigo (and especially Cesare) may have fended off the French attack in last week's episode of The Borgias, but King Charles isn't going away that easily. No, both the vendetta he has against the pontiff and thirst for Roman treasures continue to remain strong, to the point where the plaster cannons and element of surprise can no longer defend the city of Rome. It's time to go to battle and in "Stray Dogs", we get to see the preparation for the almighty showdown.

And that showdown has caused Rodrigo to have to step out of what's comfortable and go with his gut. Having a woman on the throne may not have been socially acceptable at the time, but Rodrigo giving Lucretzia in loco parentis makes sense. Cesare and Juan will be joining the troops and he can't have anyone know »

Tonight on Family Guy: Cate Blanchett Guest Stars (Sneak Peeks)

Cate Blanchett guest voices in tonight's all new episode of Family Guy, as a girl that Stewie falls in love with.

First, Lois is back at the doctor's office with busted ribs because she gets crushed and hurt every time Peter rolls over in bed.  Her solution is to buy separate twin beds for her and Peter, which keeps her safe, but Peter has a serious problem with it.  It turns out that he can't sleep unless someone is sleeping next to him that he can cuddle with.  So he proposes a crazy idea to Quagmire, who agrees with his sleeping habits: the two of them will spoon together in bed at night. Quagmire is totally on board with the plan, but Lois thinks the whole situation is ridiculous.  Of course, the whole thing gets weird very quickly.

Tonight on The Good Wife: Is it Over for Lockhart Gardner in the Season 3 Finale?

Tonight on The Good Wife: Is it Over for Lockhart Gardner in the Season 3 Finale?

Tonight is the season 3 finale of The Good Wife and it is hard to believe that we are already at this time of year. This season has been one of transition for the characters who inhabit Lockhart Gardner and the State's Attorney's office and we have come full circle in some respects. Peter (Chris Noth) is about to embark on another campaign and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) has conflicted feelings about her relationship with Peter that could lead to a big decision. This season finale will also see Kalinda's past catch her up in a significant way and there is a threat to the future of Lockhart Gardner as two formidable opponents team up together to bankrupt the firm.

Let's start with the Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) and Patti Nyholm (Martha Plimpton) element of »

Fringe 4.20 "Worlds Apart" Review

Fringe 4.20 "Worlds Apart" Review

Last night's Fringe was an episode heavily laden with mythology, yet it still managed to include some wonderfully poignant character moments. The reintroduction of Nick Lane and the other Cortexiphan kids in “Worlds Apart” finally revealed what David Robert Jones had in store for both worlds: Jones’ plan was to use the former Cortexiphan subjects to tune into their Alternates on the Other Side in order to weaken the barrier between the universes to collapse both worlds. Although it was certainly telegraphed, I kept hoping that there would be another way to stop Jones than closing the Bridge, and I refuse to believe that that's the last we'll see of the Other Side.

Only in Fringe could the characters go from battling against their Alternates to fighting instead to keep the bridge between the worlds open. Somewhere along the way these strange bedfellows became not only allies but friends, »

Scandal 1.04 Review: Enemy of the State

Scandal 1.04 Review: Enemy of the State

If each week has a different case front and certain, I would almost certainly put Olivia Pope and Associates as the main mention. I know that the case of the weak was the South American dictator whose wife was thought to be kidnapped, but compared to everything else that was going on, his story was C-line at best.

We open up with a chaotic Liv calling Stephen to her apartment at wine with 3 Am. She has forced multiple pregnancies upon Amanda and as suspected, they were all positive. I loved Stephen's unblinkingly loyalty to Olivia that he would drop everything and show up in the middle of the night. However, I really thought he knew about her affair with the President. Perhaps he does know, but won't say it outloud until Liv does?

This is the second time he has made a mention of »

Supernatural Jib Convention: Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Jim Beaver & More

Supernatural Jib Convention: Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Jim Beaver & More

It's day 2 of the Supernatural Jus in Bello convention in Rome and the lead actors of the show - Jensen Ackles (Dean) and Jared Padalecki (Sam) - took to the stage, together and individually.  If you missed our report from day 1, click here.

With the two lead actors, as well as Jim Beaver (Bobby) and Misha Collins (Castiel), speaking today, we got a lot of opinions on Supernatural, from arcs that happened in earlier seasons to season 7.  Bear with me, because we have a lot of information to get through.

Bobby and His Death

Jim Beaver, of course, had this reaction when he was told about Bobby's death this season: "I didn’t like it.  But everybody dies...I was just hoping it would be around season 15.  I wasn’t nuts about the storyline, but I knew it was good drama. »

Grimm 1.19 "Leave It to Beavers" Review

Grimm 1.19 "Leave It to Beavers" Review

The most frustrating episode of television is one that has all the elements to be great yet doesn't quite gel. You see the potential on the screen and keep waiting for that moment when it all clicks, but there's something about it that keeps it from feeling complete. It could be something relatively minor that undoes its quality, like a momentary writing lapse or a misused character, but it tends to come down to execution. Put simply, the episode doesn't get pieced together properly, typically leaving things a bit uneven or lacking compared to what they could have been. After a string of improvement, "Leave It to Beavers" became that type of episode for Grimm.

But there's nothing that obvious that took Grimm out at the knees, not really. Though the Juliette/Monroe/Nick subplot was a little ham-handed and too short to have any impact, »

Supernatural 7.20 Recap: The Great Winchester Caper...With Bonus Felicia Day

Supernatural 7.20 Recap: The Great Winchester Caper...With Bonus Felicia Day

There are all sorts of different Supernatural episodes that appeal to me. I love the big, dramatic mythology episodes where Dean cries because something happened (likely someone dying). I love the hilarious episodes where everything is just so silly. And I love episodes like this week’s episode that was just a fun hour of television with a great guest star that also moved the story forward.

Charlie, From It

Over at Dick Roman’s company, we met Charlie (guest star Felicia Day), an adorable It employee and part-time hacker who caught Roman’s eye. Since he finally got his hands on Frank Deveraux’s hard drive, he wants Charlie to get through the encryption. She started working on it immediately until she ran into a few road blocks...like a War Games simulator Frank had built into the drive based on the 1980s movie. »

Supernatural Preview: Castiel Returns to Help Defeat the Leviathans

The race to stop the Leviathans really began with this week's Supernatural.  The Winchesters headed back to the mountain cabin to regroup and Bobby stopped by to deliver information about Dick Roman's plans, which he saw before he died.  That's when they got a message from Frank, who warned that someone was trying to break into his hard drive and could find information on the brothers in there.

As it turns out, Dick Roman had found Frank's hard drive and asked an employee in his It department - Charlie - to crack it within 3 days or she's fired.  After Charlie witnessed a Leviathan killing her boss, she ran home, desperate to escape.  That's when the Winchesters caught up with her and they came up with a plan for Charlie to hack Dick Roman's email.  Thus began the caper, with »

The Secret Circle 1.20 "Traitor" Review

The Secret Circle 1.20 "Traitor" Review

The Secret Circle has been one of those shows that I want to like more than I actually do. Don't get me wrong, I've (mostly) enjoyed hobnobbing around Chance Harbor, giggling at Faye's dismissive one liners and marveling at how (darkly) beautiful the show's visuals can be. I just felt like this was a show that could afford to take it up another notch, its default setting being angst and its danger being fairly minimal, at best. Everything was there for the show's taking - a pretty good cast, themes that could parlay from their "witch self" to their "teenage self", and yes, those darn visuals - but it seemed like The Secret Circle had been unwilling (or didn't know how) to put them all together to fulfill its potential.

Until now.

Although it's had several very good episodes, I think that "Traitor" is the »

Person of Interest 1.20 'Matsya Nyaya' Review

Person of Interest 1.20 'Matsya Nyaya' Review

By now it’s become clear that there are basically two ways to watch Person of Interest. Either you’re just there for the fun of the procedural Poi of the week format or you’re into it for the bigger picture. Last night’s episode proved that those of us that have been paying close attention to the flashbacks of the characters have some nice payoff story-wise in the coming final episodes of the first season. Which is a bit of a relief as initially John Reese’s flashback sequences didn’t seem to provide much for the show other than background Intel on how Reese was like before he met up with Finch.

From the 2010 flashback sequence, it’s apparent that Reese has reason for his trust issues as we witness his final mission with former partner, Stanton. The parallel is clear »

The Vampire Diaries Sneak Peek: Klaus Visits the Gilbert House...for a Doppelganger

The Vampire Diaries Sneak Peek: Klaus Visits the Gilbert House...for a Doppelganger

Esther had her own plans for the Decade Dance in this week's episode of The Vampire Diaries and they involved turning Alaric into a vampire in order to make him an unstoppable vampire hunter.  But Alaric seemingly ruined her plan when he killed her before completing the process to become a vampire.  While he said goodbye to all of his friends and was prepared to die, Bonnie interrupted that plan by force-feeding him blood while in a trance, thus making him into a vampire.

In next week's episode, Klaus wants to get out of Mystic Falls now that Alaric has become a serious threat. But before he goes, he wants to take Elena so he can have access to her blood.  But when he drops by the Gilbert house to announce that he's taking the doppelganger, the »

Supernatural Jib Convention: Misha Collins, Richard Speight, Sebastian Roché and More!

Supernatural conventions are like Comic-Con.  But with far more women.  There's a crazy kind of energy in a room where the fans scream for actors like they're rock stars at a concert.

Rome has been the site of the Jus in Bello convention for three years now and the city plays host to an international group of Supernatural fans who convene on the Airport Hilton (not the most Italian of places, mind you) to see their favorite actor.  In case you're unfamiliar with these conventions, the stars of the show (present and past) come together for two and a half days to host panels on stage (sometimes together, other times individually), take photos and sign autographs with fans.  In some respects, in the panel room, being up on stage is like performing a comic show or doing an interview. »

American Idol Top 6 Results: Killer Queen

American Idol Top 6 Results: Killer Queen

If I had to come up with a word with what I was feeling going into tonight's American Idol results show, I think it would be resignation. Somehow I knew that I wasn't going to like the results, even though I promised myself no result would surprise me. I didn't like the outcome, and I wasn't surprised. On with the show.

The night started out with the usual dramatic opening, and then a performance by The Queen Extravaganza, singing "Somebody to Love." It was. The whole entire time they were performing I kept thinking of how well the Dartmouth Aires had performed it on The Sing-Off and how much I missed the judges on that show. (Best. Judging. Panel. Ever.)

The Ford video was it's usual bit of fluff, and there was an interesting bit with TMZ. I'm not sure why the contestants were at TMZ, »

Once Upon a Time Sneak Peeks: After a Confrontation With Mary Margaret, Regina Devises a New Plan

Regina's plan to frame Mary Margaret for Kathryn's murder on Once Upon a Time failed.  Sidney may have confessed for the set-up, but Emma and Mary Margaret are convinced that Regina is behind everything, even if Sidney was willing to take the fall for her.

In this weekend's episode, Mary Margaret finally confronts Regina, saying she's convinced that the mayor played a part in trying to destroy her life.  But Mary Margaret insists that she forgives her.  "Your life must be filled with such incredible loneliness if your only joy comes from destroying everyone else's happiness," she says.  "It's going to leave a giant hole in your heart."

Of course, Regina is less than thrilled about her sworn enemy getting off without the punishment she feels Mary Margaret deserves, so she comes up »

The Vampire Diaries Preview: Damon and Stefan Seek Help From an Unlikely Source

The latest episode of The Vampire Diaries brought the 1920s to Mystic Falls with the Decade Dance. Unfortunately for Elena (Nina Dobrev) she couldn't have one night off from the drama as Esther (Alice Evans) had plans to use her blood. Esther needed Elena's blood to transform Alaric (Matt Davis) into the ultimate vampire hunter and this plan involves turning Alaric into a vampire and only keeping the evil Alaric part of him alive.

Esther's plan looked like it failed when Alaric killed Esther before he could complete the transition process and all of his friends came to say goodbye. This was particularly devastating for Elena and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) who lost yet another guardian. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) stayed with Alaric until the end, or so he thought. Bonnie turned up at the cemetery in a »
