James Cameron's Avatar screenshots arrive!

James Cameron made an appearance at Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, talking about his upcoming film Avatar and the video game which has been developed alongside the movie. Not many hard facts were revealed, but here is a round up of what we learned:
* Ubisoft acquired a graphic design company named Hybride, which is creating over 100 of the CGI shots for the film.
* Cameron said that the film takes place in the 22nd century, on a large Earth-like moon called Pandora, with rain forests, 1000-foot tall trees, and many different types of critters. He described the Na’vi as 10 feet tall and striped like tigers. »

Mallika turns into comic book superhero

The Bollywood sex-bomb now slithers into a new role – that of a comic book superhero.
Hisss highness Mallika Sherawat is now set to introduce a new comic character to the West. After superheroes, vampires and werewolves, the Los Angeles-based Radical Comics will have a new superhero – a snakewoman.
The comic character is inspired from Mallika’s role of a Nagin in ‘Hisss’ which is co-produced by her brother, Vikram Singh and directed by Hollywood filmmaker Jennifer Lynch.
Not just the comic book, plans are also afoot to launch a series of graphic novels based on ‘Hisss’. If the response is good, Mallika could well emerge as the super snake comic-book heroine for the world.
The makers of the film also want to promote the movie through digital media and xBox games, CDs and DVDs.
However, the launch date of the ‘Hisss’ comic books is yet to be finalized. »

Sallu and Katrina go for major Pda!!

The rumour of a possible split between them has prompted Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif to indulge in some public display of affection.
They are a couple that has been discreet, if not secretive, about their relationship from the start. Having never accepted their romance publicly, Katrina and Salman have now begun behaving more like a couple ever since the rumour of an ugly split between them stormed the tinsel town last week.
Just two days back, Katrina visited Salman on the sets of producer Boney Kapoor’s film Wanted at Film City. Rather than confining herself to Salman’s vanity van (which she often does when she visits him on sets) Katrina chose to step out with her beau onto the film’s sets.
Salman, who was shooting a song, would give a shot and walk back to Katrina and thereafter the lovers would resume their chatting.

Kareena gets her Butt back

Once the size zero belle, Kareena Kapoor is back to being her voluptuous self. And of all the flab and curves she has gained, it’s her shapely butt that’s making her beau Saif Ali Khan go gaga over her.
Shunning aside the much–eyed size zero figure, the actress, who is a self confessed foodie, is now sporting a curvaceous figure. And it’s all thanks to beau Saif Ali Khan, who seems to have pampered his dainty beauty with a refreshing vacation.
It’s no secret that Bebo was criticised for her diminished size. The actress had to face much flak for sporting the envious figure. But all that seems to passé now as she seems to have got her butt back.

Twilight and Megan Fox rule MTV Movie Awards

Hollywood beauties were out in force at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles last night. Megan Fox wowed in a classy strapless dress, keeping a tight grip on her reputation as the hottest babe in the industry.
High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens also dazzled in a revealing silky number, with Cameron Diaz opting for more casual get-up.
Teen vampire flick Twilight was the big winner on the night, scooping five prizes including Best Film at the star-studded ceremony. Stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart picked up the male and female Breakthrough Performace gongs.
The film also won the Best Kiss and Best Fight awards. Hilarity was sparked when a flying Sacha Baron Cohen - in the guise of his latest comic creation Bruno - was lowered into the lap of a seemingly furious Eminem, who stormed out after the prank. »

Ash looks Extraordinary in Benjamin Button Remake

The Bollywood stunner has been sitting for long make-up sessions while shooting Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s movie Action Replay in Karjat.
If you’ve been stumped by the plumed and feathered look of Ash in the stills of her Tamil film Endhiran , wait to see her makeover in Vipul Shah’s strangely themed film ‘Action Replay’ with Akshay Kumar .
Reports had it that Ash has been reporting late for shoots on the sets of the film at Nitin Desai studios in Karjat, but director Vipul Shah says the actress has to sit for long make-up sessions to get her look right for every scene.
"Aishwarya has an extraordinary look in the film. We always knew it would take time for her to get ready because of which we had planned the shoots accordingly," Shah recently told a tabloid.

Salman won't let Katrina have any friends!

Hottie Katrina Kaif seems to be living in isolation these days. Reports reveal that the actress is all set to make a guest appearance on beau Salman’s TV show 'Dus Ka Dum', but sadly she doesn’t have a partner.
Grapevine has it that none of her co-stars is willing to be her partner on the show, apparently because Salman doesn’t take her association with any of her co-actors positively.
According to our source, “With Salman keeping a constant vigil on Katrina’s life and phone bills, Katrina’s co-stars are growing increasingly wary of being paired with her. Ironically, the opening question on the inaugural episode of ‘10 Ka Dum’ was, ‘How many Indian men keep a tab on their partner’s phone bills?’ Considering the recent gossip about Katrina’s involvement with Ranbir Kapoor and John Abraham, they will not accompany her on the show. The full trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon has debuted online - this is the first good look we’ve had at the work being done by director Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass, About A Boy) who took over after Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke departed the franchise.

The clip opens with the sort of drama between Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) that is the lifeblood of this ’saga’ before moving on to some classic human/vampire conflict and a look at werewolves as envisioned by this series.
This trailer promises more of what we saw in the first film: highly emotional, arguably over-dramatic supernatural stories made to appeal to the young romantic in everyone. That formula didn’t work for some folks the first time, and it doesn’t instill much hope that »
