So, I show them a bunch of footage from Ant-Man because they were gonna be working with Paul," he said. "I felt very protective about the character. I was like, 'No he wouldn’t say that, he would say this!' It was great. It was a great back and forth." Peyton Reed continued, "When Paul went to shoot for a couple days on Civil War, I felt really envious. I felt like my girlfriend had left me and gone off with the other guy. Kevin Feige Sheds Some Light On The Recent Lack Of Marvel One-shots

It's been a long time since we've seen a Marvel One-Shot, something which is quite a surprise considering just a couple of the most recentones helped to launch the Agent Carter TV series and even teased possible plans for Iron Man 4. So, where have they gone? When Collider pointed out that many fans are disappointed that they haven't been featured on a Blu-ray for a while, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige replied: "I’m disappointed too! Frankly, and I think it would be great to see more one-shots. We’ll see…" That sounds like the movies have been put on indefinite hold.  However, Feige couldn't provide any solid details, and it appears as if the decision to scrap the One Shots wasn't his. "You look at me as if I’m the only person who controls that decision; I wish that were the case. But I think when the opportunity »

Fear The Walking Dead Will Focus On "Family Drama"; Check Out 3 New Photos

We're getting ever closer to the arrival of The Walking Dead 'companion show', Fear The Walking Dead, and EW have secured three new photos from the premiere. The images give us a look at "Alicia" (a high-achieving teenager played by Alycia Debnam-Carey), along with her mother "Madison" (Kim Dickens), and Madison's boyfriend "Travis" (Cliff Curtis). They also heard from showrunner Dave Erickson, who revealed that "family drama" would play a key part in the series. “Ultimately, it’s a family drama. One of the things that Robert [Kirkman] and I discussed from the very beginning was, we’re starting a little earlier in the apocalypse. And what that allowed us to do in the pilot and season 1 is establish our core family, establish the problems and the conflicts that they have, and really let that be the initial world that we live in. And we layer in the onset of the apocalypse, »

First Look At Bruce Campbell As 'Ash' In Starz' Ash Vs. Evil Dead

EW has debuted our first official still from Ash Vs. Evil Dead, giving us a look at Bruce Campbell as the Deadite-slayer of the title in all his bloody glory. He's joined by his fellow Value Stop employee sidekicks Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Kelly (Dana Delorenzo). So what has Ash been up to in the years since his last tangle with the demons on Army Of Darkness? “Not much!” says Campbell. “He was perfectly happy doing basically nothing: telling lies about how he lost his hand in bars late at night. That was basically his Mo. So, he’s not really the guy who should be dealing with this right now. But…he is. He’s our guy!” Turns out it's Ash who is again responsible for unleashing the Evil Dead upon the world. Just as well this idiot is handy with a boomstick! Bruce Campbell will reprise his role as the title character Ash, »

"A year ago, a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas, left the city decimated. Blamed for the tragic event, those with extraordinary abilities are in hiding or on the run from those with nefarious motives. Two such vigilantes include Luke (Zachary Levi, "Chuck") and Joanne (Judith Shekoni, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2"), who are seeking to avenge a tragic loss. Noah Bennet, aka H.R.G. James Gunn Says Ant-man May Just Be His Favorite Marvel Movie Since Iron Man

James Gunn's a popular figure in the world of comic book movies, having turned a relatively unknown comic book property into a global smash hit for Marvel last year with his Guardians Of The Galaxy. Now, Peyton Reed is about to attempt to acheive a similar feat with Ant-Man. Ahead of the movie's release in a few weeks time, Reed has received a glowing endorsement from his fellow director, who posted his take on the movie on Facebook, after attending the premiere on Monday: "Ant-Man may just be my favorite Marvel film since Jon Favreau's Iron Man (well, maybe excluding one film to which I'm partial). Honestly, the movie is a complete blast! I was so happy after seeing it. It's never boring for a second and it's hilarious and warm throughout. It doesn't get caught up in the webbing of its own science-fiction concept like so many movies do these days, »

It Sounds Like Arrow Star Stephen Amell's Match At WWE Summerslam Has Been Scrapped

We've been keeping you updated about the possibility of Arrow star showing up to wrestle Stardust at this year's WWE SummerSlam for a while now, and while the build up to that match seemed to be ticking along quite nicely, it sounds like the idea has now been scrapped by the company.  According to Wrestling Observer Radio's Dave Meltzer, a bout between the two was being planned, but has now been called off. A reason wasn't given, but you have to imagine that it has something to do with the recent death of Stardust's (a.k.a. Cody Rhodes) father, Dusty Rhodes. However, this isn't the first time that the WWE has contemplated a celebrity guest appearance at SummerSlam and thought better of it. It's been rumoured that they last year discussed having Justin Bieber team-up with John Cena and The Big Show against The Wyatt Family before thinking better of it. »

Both Michael Keaton And J.K. Simmons Exit Legendary's Kong: Skull Island

It looks like Legendary and director Jordan Vogt-Roberts are going to have to begin searching for a couple of terrific actors for lead roles in Kong: Skull Island fairly pronto, as they've lost both Michael Keaton and J.K. Simmons. According to Deadline, the "principal reason" behind their departure is scheduling conflicts, as the project recently pushed back its production start by a few weeks from the fall to before the end of the year. Thor's Tom Hiddleston remains on in the lead role. Though the movie has been referred to as an origin story for the great ape, it's also been called a reboot and is not expected to tie into Peter Jackson's 2005 King Kong remake. The plot will focus on "a team of explorers venturing deep inside the treacherous, primordial island." Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni will produce with Alex Garcia, and Eric McLeod is on board as exec producer. »

Sophie Turner Takes A Walk Near X-men: Apocalypse Set; Stuns In New Glamour Photoshoot

Sophie Turner's character on HBO's Game Of Thrones has had a rough time of it recently, but she should get the chance to have a little more fun when she portrays the younger version of telepathic mutant Jean Grey in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse. We also have some pics from her shoot with Glamour Magazine. Ant-man Director Peyton Reed Would Be Open To A Prequel Focusing On 'Hank Pym'

Ant-Man is the first case of 'passing of the mantle' in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, featuring the original incarnation of the character, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and the second, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), working together. We know we'll see Pym in action in flashback sequences during the film, and that Rudd will suit up in next year's Captain America: Civil War, but ComicBook.com has quizzed director Peyton Reed on the possibility of exploring the characters even further. Asked if he would be open to returning for a sequel, or even a prequel, Reed responded with enthusiasm. "Listen, if we were lucky enough to be able to do a sequel or even a prequel, I'd be way into it," he said. "I've really fallen in love with these characters. I was always in love with the characters in the comic book world but there's a lot of story to tell with Hank Pym. »
