Armie Hammer On His Batman Costume For George Miller's Cancelled Justice League
10 hours ago
In the video below, Hit Fix's Drew McWeeny mentions to Armie Hammer that he has seen the concept designs that Weta Workshop created a long time ago for George Miller's motion-capture Justice League. It would've starred Hammer as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Adam Brody ("The O.C.") as the Barry Allen/The Flash, Common ("Hell on Wheels") as the John Stewart/Green Lantern, Hugh Keays-Byrne ("Mad Max: Fury Road") as The Martian Manhunter, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman, and Santiago Cabrera ("Merlin") as Aquaman. The movie fell apart when the estimated budget soared upwards of $300 million. As far as I know, none of the designs from Weta have ever surfaced online, but I'm sure down the road it will. video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the team behind the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ “The Lone Ranger,” a thrilling »

According to TV Line, the season four premiere of The Walking Dead - written by new showrunner Scott M. Gimple - will be titled 30 Days Without an Accident. Could this refer to a time skip of only a month since the events of last season or is it just a hint at the horror to come now that Rick Grimes and his fellow survivors have seemingly found a safe haven in the form of the prison? We're just going to have to wait and see, but should know more once the trailer for the upcoming season (which returns to AMC this October) is released during the San Diego Comic-Con weekend. »
More From William Fichtner On Tmnt; Reveals Shredder's Real Name In This Movie
13 hours ago
We all kinda figured Fichtner would be playing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' greatest adversary, The Shredder, when he was cast in the upcoming reboot -- even though the character is actually a Japanese warrior named Oroko Saki in the original comics/cartoons/movies etc. The actor recently confirmed this, but now he seems a bit less willing to discuss the role, as this is what he had to say to Screenrant when asked whether he had started to get down his look as The Shredder in the movie. “I actually play a guy named Eric Sachs [Sounds like Sachs? Hard to understand] in the movie. And then he goes through a few stages in his existence. But Turtles is coming together very, very cool. There is a whole interesting dynamic that happens in the world of Turtles and all I can really say about it at this point while working on it is »
Christian Bale Says He Never Had Any Official Discussions About Joining Justice League
13 hours ago
Despite Christopher Nolan and others involved saying that The Dark Knight Trilogy is in its own stand-alone universe that doesn't include superheroes, rumors have persisted that Christian Bale's Batman would find his way into a wider DC universe alongside the likes of Henry Cavill's Superman. Man Of Steel screenwriter David S. Goyer (who is also signed on to pen Justice League) confirmed recently that a separate incarnation of Bruce Wayne exists in the Superman film's universe, definitely ruling out a crossover between the two franchises. Now, speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Bale himself weighs in on the idea of donning the cape and cowl yet again for Justice League. "We were incredibly fortunate to get to make three [Batman films]. That’s enough. Let’s not get greedy. Chris [Nolan] always said he wanted to make it one film at a time. And we ended up sitting there looking at each other, »
Two More Pacific Rim Posters Released; Legendary's Thomas Tull On Box Office Tracking
14 hours ago
Speaking with Shock Till You Drop, Legendary Pictures CEO Thomas Tull is asked about the buzz surrounding Pacific Rim's box office tracking. The Guillermo del Toro-helmed epic is said to be not doing such a great job in early tracking (despite the director saying that it's improving), with audiences reportedly being more interested in seeing Grown Ups 2 that weekend. A big surprise for one of this summer's most highly anticipated films. However, Tull still recommends seeing Pacific Rim, saying that those who have seen it love it. "Audiences that have seen the movie, love the movie. I think in our core audiences and, sort of, the fanboy groups that want to see the movie...we have seen tracking wildly on all of our movies so, at this point, all we can say to audiences is if you go see this movie, you're going to love it and »

Both Doctor Strange and Black Panther have long been rumored to be next on the list, though we have never had any official word. But now -- while answering a question about those recent Planet Hulk/Civil war rumors -- Stan Lee mentions both characters while revealing which movies are currently being worked on at Marvel. "I'm not involved in those decisions anymore, but the people at Marvel are spending hours trying to think 'what will we do next?' and there's a damn good chance that they will think of just what you mentioned, 'cos it would be a great idea and little by little everything you want to see will come along, because [Marvel] are just like you, they're fans »
