The Dark Knight Faces Down Deathstroke On This Awesome Fan-Made Poster For The Batman

We still haven't confirmed exactly what Ben Affleck was teasing with that Deathstroke vid, but most fans have taken it to mean that the villain is going to make an appearance in Justice League, before going on to menace the Caped Crusader in his standalone film, which is currently being dubbed The Batman. With that in mind, MessyPandas has put together this cool fan-made one-sheet, which may give us some idea of what to expect if and when these two incredibly skilled warriors finally face-off on the big screen. »

Marvel TV Developing New Warriors Comedy Series Featuring Squirrel Girl

A Squirrel Girl movie always seemed like a long shot (regardless of Anna Kendrick's interest and the enthusiasm of the Russo Brothers), but TV Line has now revealed that the character is heading to the small screen. Apparently, Marvel and ABC Studios are developing a New Warriors comedy series which will put the spotlight on the obscure hero who has become a real fan-favourite in recent years.  The half hour series won't air on ABC though as it is apparently being shopped around to both cable and streaming services (a sign perhaps that it will be a little more adult in nature than Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.). It's certainly an interesting idea, though it sounds like it's still early days for the project. "Described as the junior version of The Avengers," the site adds, "the New Warriors are a superhero squad made up of teenagers, one of whom would include »

Supergirl Season 2 Casts Superman Villain Metallo Ahead Of Show's Debut On The CW

Videos from the set of Supergirl season two showed the Man of Steel squaring off with an actor who looked an awful lot like Metallo, and now Entertainment Weekly has confirmed the news. Frederick Schmidt will be playing the villain, and it sounds like his story is going to play out over at least a couple of episodes as we follow John Corben's transformation into the Kryptonite powered bad guy.  For further details, here's the official character description from The CW: "When international assassin John Corben is badly injured after taking on both Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), he is reborn by a shadow organization into the Kryptonite-powered supervillain Metallo."   Metallo first appeared in Action Comics in 1959, and previously made his live-action debut in Smallville when he was played by Brian Austin Green. Scmidt is a relative unknown, with perhaps his most noteworthy credit being Starred Up. Are »

New Spider-man: Homecoming Set Pics; Video Features Tom Holland Performing An Impressive Flip Stunt

We've seen Tom Holland show off his very impressive skills in the past, and the young actor is at it again from the set of Marvel and Sony's Spider-Man: Homecoming. This time he performs a jumping side-flip after watching his stunt coordinator demonstrate the technique, and challenges Thor: Ragnarok's Chris Hemsworth to outdo it in the process. A Redditer has also posted some new set images of Holland suited up as Spidey. There's nothing we haven't seen before, really, but it's nice to get another glimpse of that awesome outfit. Oh, and just in case you were wondering, they're not movie props he's holding - the color card is used for color correcting in post, and the other object acts as a light reference for effects artists.   @chrishemsworth and @bobbydazzler84 beat that! A video posted by ✌️ (@tomholland2013) on Aug 27, 2016 at 6:16pm Pdt Spider-Man: Homecoming also stars Robert Downey Jr., »

Honest Trailer For Batman: The Killing Joke Takes Aim At The Dark Knight's Controversial Love Life

"Warner Bros. is fighting fire with gasoline, by adding even more Batgirl, except now she also gets roofied, flirts with a criminal who is giving her attention, has sex with her boss, complains about men and gets talked down to by a grown man in a batsuit." That pretty much sums up the first forty minutes of Batman: The Killing Joke, but the Honest Trailers team finds plenty more to take aim at! Among the biggest talking points are Batgirl hooking up with Batman and Barbara Gordon's horribly cliched gay best friend, though not even The Joker emerges entirely unscathed here. The video also pokes fun at the largely unecessary R-Rating, and while Batman: The Killing Joke has a lot of good points, this is one Honest Trailer it's hard to argue with. As always, share your thoughts below.  »

The Suited Up Prometheus Is Revealed In First Official Images From Arrow Season 5

We still don't know how much the events of Flashpoint will change Arrow, but based on these first official images from season five, it doesn't seem as if Oliver Queen's world is vastly different following Barry Allen's decision to change the timeline. Star City's new mayor will have his hands full regardless as we get a first look at mysterious new bad guy Prometheus here taking aim at an unknown foe.  The images also put the spotlight on this year's flashbacks. Those will be set in Russia, and as you may have already realised if you've scrolled down, familiar face Anatoly Knyazev (played by David Nykl) makes his return. After a disappointing fourth season, it will be interesting to see how Arrow does - or doesn't - improve when it returns to The CW this October. What do you guys think of these images? »

First Official Images From The Flash Season 3 Feature Kid-Flash, Reverse-Flash Behind Bars, And More

When The Flash returns to The CW this October, Barry Allen will be living in a whole new world. That stems from his decision to race back in time and save his mother from being killed at the hands of the Reverse-Flash, a villain who the Scarlet Speedster is now keeping prisoner. You can actually catch a glimpse of that below along with a first look at The Flash teaming up with Wally West, a.k.a. Kid-Flash.  Whether or not Wally will still be Kid-Flash when the timeline is returned to normal remains to be seen, but it should be a lot of fun seeing these two fighting side by side. Barry cluing in Iris West to what he's done (something which the trailer hinted at) is very interesting, especially as they were close to embarking on a relationship when season two ended. What do you think of these images? »

Brad Bird Gives Brief Update On The Incredibles 2

Speaking to Entertanment Weekly, director Brad Bird was careful not to give away any spoilers regarding the plot of The Incedibles 2 but did reveal that he's made significant progress on the story.   “I don’t like unwrapping presents before Christmas,” said the Tomorrowland and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol director.  He continued, "It’s very actively moving, and we’re excited about it.  [We’re] trying to take it in some new directions.  Hopefully it’s the same characters and feel, but going in a new direction.  I mean, that’s the trick with a sequel. It’s repeating yourself, without repeating yourself." The Incredibles 2 is currently slated to arrive in theaters on June 21, 2019.  It will compete against the Justice League sequel (06/14/19) and Transformers 7 (06/28/19)  during the Summer box office season. »

The latest addition to the cast of Arrow season 5 is David Meunier (Justified, Jericho, Revolution), who will play DC baddie, Ishmael Gregor. In the comics, Gregor is granted the immense powers of the demonic Sabbac, but it remains to be seen if that carries over to the small screen of course. Ghostbusters Blu-ray Cover Art & Special Features Revealed; Extended Version Confirmed

Sony Pictures' critically acclaimed Ghostbusters was arguably one of the best comedies of the summer and this fall, you'll be able to bring it home on 4K Ultra HD, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and Digital HD. Back in July, we caught word that director Paul Feig had completed work on an Extended Version of the film for the home video release and now, thanks to the Blu-ray cover art, we have confirmation on said cut. This Extended Version will add approximately 15 minutes of never-before-seen footage to the film, which should certainly up the ante for our heroines, played by Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, & Kate McKinnon. Additionally, the cover art has revealed a nearly complete list of bonus content, which includes a ton of alternate & deleted scenes along with a gag reel and a handful of behind-the-scenes featurettes. Check out the list below: Extended Edition (133 minutes) & Theatrical Version (116 minutes) 2 Hysterically »

That Deathstroke Teaser Was Filmed On The Flying Fox

Remember that behind-the-scenes Justice League set photo featuring Zack Snyder and Jason Momoa that was released all the way back in February? There were a few instantly recognizable costumes on display such as The Flash, Batman and Aquaman but fans were going crazy trying to figure out who owned the black, nondescript costume glimpsed just above Zack Snyder's right shoulder.  Did it belong to Nightwing?  Black Manta? Green Lantern? Well, it appears that armor first seen 6 months ago was our first glimpse of Deathstroke.   It's unlikely that Ben Affleck and Zack Snyder would be looking ahead to the solo Batman film at such an early stage with so much riding on Justice League.  They wouldn't be working out the aesthetics of Deathstroke so early unless the lethal mercenary was also appearing in Justice League.   Add that to the fact that ScreenRant, who toured the Justice League set back in June, »

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Thinks The Dark Knight Trilogy Had The Perfect Ending

Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy stands as one of the last remaining standalone superhero stories before ensemble films such as The Avengers ushered audiences into an era of shared cinematic universes. As both the McU and the Dceu continue to expand, actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt recently reflected on his time as part of the final Nolan Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises. In an interview with Cinemablend, Gordon-Levitt says he feels that the trilogy was better off telling a complete story. “I know we're all used to the sort of Marvel movies, which are just kind of endless series. They don't really have a beginning, middle, and end. But I think Nolan very much thought of that movie as a conclusion.” The end of the final film saw Gordon-Levitt's character, Sgt. John "Robin" Blake, discover Bruce Wayne's Batcave, insinuating that Blake takes up the mantle of Batman after the events of the film. »

The Flash Season 3 Will Involve Psychological Warfare, But Will Have A Lighter Tone

As if the altered Flashpoint timeline wasn't enough, season 3 of The Flash will introduce a third villainous speedster for Barry to face off with; this time it's the "speed god", Savitar (who was yet to be cast). A lot of Flash fans groaned over yet another speedster acting as the big bad of the season, but executive producer Aaron Helbing promises a much different villain this time around. “[Season 3] is more about psychological warfare,” Helbing teased. "Everything about [Savitar] is different than Zoom or Reverse-Flash,” executive producer Todd Helbing adds. “I can’t go into too much detail, but he’s quite a bit different.” In addition to Savitar, Barry will also have to contend with a second villain, Dr. Alchemy, who will be voiced by Tobin Bell of the Saw franchise. “[We’re] trying to have the powers that they both possess play off of each other,” Todd explained. “It’s not just, »
