Max von Sydow Joins The Cast Of Game Of Thrones Season 6

Max von Sydow is one of Hollywood's most experienced and talented veteran actors, boasting a fantastic career that includes The Exorcist, Minority Report, Shutter Island and even the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Now it appears the two-time Academy Award nominated actor has turned his attention to the small screen. EW have revealed that von Sydow has joined the cast of HBO's incredibly popular fantasy series, Game Of Thrones. He will reportedly portray the 'Three-Eyed Raven' - the ancient mentor of Bran Stark. Fans may remember that we've already briefly seen the Three-Eyed Raven - played by Struan Rodger at the end of Season 4. However, it's clear that the show's producers have clearly recast with the view to securing a bigger name for this pivotal role. Von Sydow's involvement is yet another huge scoop for the HBO show, and comes hot on the heels of the arrival of former Deadwood star, »

Tom Holland's 'Spider-Man' Might Have More Than A Cameo In Captain America: Civil War

Though it's been confirmed countless times that Tom Holland will make his first appearance as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, there have not been any details on the size of his role. Given the highly-anticipated movie is somehow centered on Chris Evans' titular Super Soldier while also having supporting roles for most of the Avengers as well as fellow newbie Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther, we have all assumed that Spidey would only have a cameo. However, Devin Faraci of Birth.Movies.Death has now revealed how the Web-Slinger will have a somewhat larger presence. In an article covering last week's news that Tom Holland has already filmed his Peter Parker cameo for Captain America: Civil War, which might have been done in a matter of days, Devin Faraci nonchalantly notes that Spidey has been on the set much longer by way of stunt men and other pre-vfx techniques. »

Twitter Reactions From Early Fantastic Four Screening; Major Spoiler Revealed

Since before the cameras even started rolling, the majority of fans have been a) convinced that Fantastic Four would be terrible, and b) hoping it would fail to the rights revert to Marvel Studios (though seeing as Fox held onto the rights for eight years after Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, why they think that would happen is hard to say...Fox might just try yet another reboot).  Based on the reactions from a recent early screening of the reboot, it appears as if all the doubters have been proved wrong, as people seem to love it. It's worth bearing in mind that these may only be as positive as this because they were happy to be treated to seeing Fantastic Four early and getting free popcorn and a drink, but they genuinely appear to really like it! UK cinema chain Cineworld are also screening the movie tomorrow, »

Rumor: Michael Fassbender And James McAvoy Sign On For More X-men Movies

Both Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy have previously expressed interest in returning as Magneto and Professor X once their contract comes to an end with X-Men: Apocalypse, and it now appears as if Channing Tatum's Gambit deal wasn't the only one closed by Fox this weekend. According to a new report, the duo have reportedly signed on to reprise their respective roles in future X-Men movies. So, both characters clearly survive the events of the 2016 movie anyway!  The franchise wouldn't be the same without them, and while it's not clear how many more movies Fassbender and McAvoy will star in, we obviously haven't seen the last of the two mutant friends turned enemies in Fox's X-Men Universe. It's also mentioned that Nicholas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence are wanted by the studio to return as Beast and Mystique, but as has been previously reported, the latter seems unlikely to commit. »

'Hawkman' Cast For Arrow, The Flash, And DC's Legends Of Tomorrow

Hawkman will return to the small screen this year as Reckless and Transcendence actor Falk Hentschel has been cast as Carter Hall/Hawkman in Arrow, The Flash, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow. This version of the character is described as, "the latest reincarnation of an Egyptian Prince who is fated to reincarnate throughout time along with his soulmate, Kendra Saunders (portrayed by Ciara Renee). Like Kendra, Carter can access the powers of the Hawk God, Horus, transforming him into the winged warrior known as Hawkman." They're clearly following the comic books then! It's also been confirmed that Hentschel will first appear in the crossover episodes of Arrow and The Flash before moving on to the spinoff. Fantastic Four Movie Writer Cites Tricky Nature Of Marvels' First Family

Fantastic Four screenwriter Simon Kinberg admits that adapting Marvel's First Family for today's audience is no easy task.  However, he insists that he's proud of the finished product and wants to make future films with the cast of Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Miles Teller and Jamie Bell.   "I am proud of it. It’s not a disaster. It’s a good movie. I find Fantastic Four a hard book to adapt. I think the tone is very tricky. It’s deceptively simple. Figuring out the comedy and the drama and the powers themselves are hard to fit into a tone that is as grounded as we wanted to make it. But I’m happy with the way that it turned out. I really love this cast, and I want to keep making movies with them." Do you plan on seeing the film this Friday or has the marketing from »

The Fantastic Four Cast Suffer Through Cringiest Interview Ever

“You’re white and you’re black. How does that happen?” And that isn't even the worst of it folks! Apparently the Rock 100.5 Morning show interviewer was on a mission to make Fantastic Four stars Kate Mara and Michael B. Jordan feel as uncomfortable as possible when they appeared on the show (along with a silently bemused Jamie Bell) to promote the movie. It's a credit to both actors that they took it in their stride and laughed it all off for the most part, but man this is a tough watch. “You’re way, way hot. Why’d you cut the hair? Your hair was beautiful.” F*cking hell! The show's main host, Jason Bailey, tried to defend the interviewer’s questions to Buzzfeed and just ended up doing more damage.. “Look, not a huge fan of these controlled 5-7 minute interview junkets they run in the first place »

DrDoom Presents: Character Death – A Daredevil Case Study

“It ain't how you hit the mat . . . . it's how you get up.” - Matt Murdock After the live action film rights for Daredevil reverted back to Marvel Studios at the end of 2012, many fans were wondering what would happen next for the Man Without Fear. The 2003 release of Mark Steven Johnson's Daredevil film was generally seen as a financial and critical disappointment, becoming something of a stillborn franchise in that all plans for sequels were indefinitely postponed. Instead, the studio opted to pursue a spin-off film with 2005's Elektra, which was so poorly received that it seemed to kill any further interest in Daredevil as a property despite the rich quality of the characters and decades of source material to pull from. Still, Fox would retain the rights to Daredevil for seven years past the release of any film based on the property, per the licensing agreement »

Daredevil Video Game In The Works According To Marvel

2 August 2015 6:36 PM, PDT

Hoping to cash in on the critical success of their Netflix series "Daredevil",Marvel are already planning on a tie-in game according to insiders at the company. One such insider who agreed to speak to Hans Honest News on condition of anonymity had the following cryptic words about the matter : "What Daredevil game ? What the hell are you talking about ? Who the hell even are you and how'd you get in my house ? Get the hell out !" Cryptic indeed. What we believe our anonymous tip (who by no means is pressing charges against Hans Honest News for breaking and entering) meant was that Marvel head honchos are desperate to recreate the success enjoyed by the Arkham Series and are willing to pull out all the stops with there newest Daredevil offering. Before being escorted by police of the whistle blowers property, (unlawfully mind you ) he managed to divulge to »
