Robert Downey Jr. Talks Iron Man 3 Fallout And Avengers: Age Of Ultron

At the conclusion of Iron Man 3, Tony Stark destroyed his armoury of suits and finally had the Arc reactor he had been dependent on for a number of years removed. That obviously leaves him with a new status quo in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and talking to Marvel.com recently, the actor had this to say about how Iron Man has since changed as a result. "I thought that the third Iron Man was about [Tony] transcending his dependence on the merits of continuing to wear your wound. That was what [director] Shane [Black] and I thought was the real win, that he throws that thing that had become a dependency away. Because that was the question I was always asking, why doesn’t he get those shards out [of his chest]? It’s dangerous." As for how that relates to where Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Stark's decision to build an army of »

And it's about flexing new muscles." So after seven years and four movies, it seems we'll be getting a new director for the franchise. Who do you want to see take on the robots in disguise? As always, drop a comment below and share your thoughts!   Transformers is an entertainment franchise produced by American Hasbro and Japanese Takara Tomy toy companies. Gal Gadot Passes On Ben-hur; Batman V Superman Schedule To Blame?

Earlier this month, it was reported that the DC Cinematic Universe's very own Wonder Woman - Gal Gadot - was in early talks to play the female lead in Paramount and MGM's upcoming retelling of Ben-Hur. However, as sources close to The Wrap report, she has since had to turn the role down. The primary reason behind this appears to be the actress' long-term commitment to Warner Bros' DC Superhero films, including 2016's Batman Vs Superman and a solo Wonder Woman movie, due to be released in June, 2017. This news sadly raises questions about the long-term contracts actors are asked to sign these days to participate in these large expanded comic book movie universes. Last month it was suggested that Joaquin Phoenix turned down Marvel's approaches to play Doctor Strange due to the fact that he didn't want to be tied down to a role for such a long period of time. »

Poll: Marvel v DC; Who Has The Better Upcoming Comic Book Movie Slate?

There are a lot of differences and similarities between Marvel and DC's upcoming movies. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice can easily be compared to Captain America: Civil War, while Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel as well as Cyborg and Black Panther also share some obvious traits. All coincidence of course, something which is evident by unique properties such as Doctor Strange and Sucide Squad geting the big screen treatment. As you can see, they each have quite a list! On the one hand you have Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Inhumans, and the two-part Avengers: Infinity War. On the other, there's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, Shazam, Cyborg, Green Lantern, and a two-part Justice League movie.  The most amazing thing about this list is the fact that we're not »

Hishe Takes On the Avengers: Age Of Ultron Trailer

"There are no strings on me" is probably one of the most memorable lines from the first Avengers: Age of Ultron teaser trailer mostly due to James Spader's chilling delivery as the titular robot villain. There's also the fact that it's seemingly inspired by Disney's Pinocchio movie, which is where the "I've Got No Strings" song that plays throughout the Age of Ultron teaser trailer originated. Well, the folks at How It Should Have Ended decided to poke fun at the closing line, so check it out below! Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. The movie is set to be released on November 4th, 2016 (the same date as Doctor Strange, so Legendary may want to consider moving) and Jordan Vogt-Roberts is directing. Superman Lives Would've Had Clark Kent & Lois Lane In Couples Therapy

There is no doubt that Jon Schnepp's Kickstarter-funded documentary, "The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?" has created some new interest in Tim Burton's Superman Lives. Enough time has passed that former cast and crew members have felt more comfortable discussing it. At the moment, Dan Gilroy, who was the last screenwriter to work on the Superman Lives script, is promoting his new film Nightcrawler and the press aked about Tim Burton's infamous film. "Well I came in after Kevin Smith and Wesley Strick had written drafts. I was very much taken by Tim's approach, which was that Kal-El was not told by Jor-El, before he got put in the little spaceship, who he was or where he came from. So poor little Kal-El, when he winds up on earth, he has no freaking idea where he came from. His biggest fear is that he's an alien. »

Rumor: Sony Planning An All-Female Spider-man Spinoff Called Glass Ceiling

After The Amazing Spider-Man 2 failed to do the business Sony must have expected, it's become clear that they're not really sure how to continue. A third movie is still on the cards, but before that there are plans for several spinoffs, including Venom, Sinister Six, and a female-led flick that will focus on a supporting character from the Spider-Man comics. Well, Badass Digest claim to have some new info regarding a couple of these movies. First, they reckon the Sinister Six film might actually be a soft reboot, which would see Spidey team up with the villains for a "Dirty Dozen style story". Then, instead of just one female character taking the reigns, they mention a "team-up movie that would bring the female Spidey characters together." The current title is said to be "Glass Ceiling", but that'll likely change if the project gets off the ground -- and that »

1920s Setting Rumored For Wonder Woman Movie

Warner Bros. confirmed just two weeks ago that Gal Gadot will indeed fly solo as Princess Diana in a Wonder Woman movie, after she debuts as the character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but rumors for the 2017 solo movie have already began to circulate.  "I have been informed that the film will spend the first half on Paradise Island with warring Amazon factions vying for control," reports Bleeding Cool, who claims to have sources who have seen the greenlit script treatment for Wonder Woman. "An arrival of a man (who is Not Steve Trevor) on the island changes that status quo, as he asks the Amazons for help." Apparently, Princess Diana will join the said man on his journey back to earth where a 1920s setting will be revealed. "And the film will then show Diana exploring that world...from her unique perspective." Furthermore, the site implies that »

Editorial: Taking A Look At The ‘Golden Age’ Of Comic-Book Movies

Well, well, well… another huge comic-book movie announcement, another opportunistic Minty article about it! I’m sure by now you’re all aware of the fantastic news Marvel have just released: Civil War! Captain Marvel! Black Panther! Howard The Duck! It appears that Feige and his team have pulled it out of the bag with another exciting slate of movies.   But what does this mean for the comic-book movie market in general? There are many who believe such a high number of superhero films per year will oversaturate the genre. Personally, I’d love to see this bubble continue to grow – at least until 2019, and hopefully much further beyond that. But in the meantime, it’s not a question we, the consumer, need to be worrying out - as long as the quality’s still there.   So sit back, put your feet up, and enjoy the next six years!   Note: »

Check Out The Awesome Final Scene From This Week's Episode Of The Flash

This week's episode of The Flash (titled "Going Rogue") was arguably the best yet, with special effects and action sequences as good as any comic book movie. The series is doing an excellent job of fleshing out the supporting cast, and while the villains so far have all been pretty great, they all pale in comparison to Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold as he really stole the show on Tuesday. If you haven't watched the episode yet, do so immediately, but here we have the awesome final scene from the latest instalment of The CW series. If you read The Flash comic books, you'll know that "Mick" is in fact Mick Rory, the villain better known as Heat Wave! We've seen set photos of him and Captain Cold taking on The Flash in episode 9, but this is a very cool moment as we see the start of the team we »
