Fan Made: Impressive Marvel Vs. DC Trailer

This is something we'll most likely never actually see happen of course, but it's fun to imagine how various Marvel characters would match up to their closest DC counterparts. That's what Alex Luthor did, and put together this quite brilliantly edited fan-trailer featuring the likes of Superman clashing with Thor, Wonder Woman taking on the Hulk, Wolverine battling Deathstroke and many more. He uses footage from Marvel and DC movies when possible, but also from various TV shows and video games -- and even the unreleased NBC Wonder Woman pilot. Well, he doesn't have many other options for that character just yet after all! Take a look and let us know what you think in the usual place. »

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Concept Art Of New Helmet

According to Indie Revolver, this newly leaked helmet design to said to belong to the character of Kylo Ren. Not only that, it is also said to be one of the final production art pieces of Kylo Ren. The flared dome is reminiscent of Vader’s, of course, and he wears it beneath a hood, not unlike the Emperor’s. The hood and cloak are ragged and tattered in many shots, but we have no way of knowing if that’s his style or if the events of the film leave him in rough shape. We’ve been told that the final helmet includes the scribed lines around his brow, but no longer colored in yellow. The facemask is removable – a trait which appears to be shared by some of the Episode VII troopers – which leaves Kylo more similar in appearance to his scenes with Vader’s helmet.  - Indie »

First Look At Star Wars: The Force Awakens Action Figures

Chewbacca (apparently he won't have a robotic arm after all) and Bb-8 should need no introduction, but what about the other three? Well to the left of the little droid appears to be a figure of Daisy Ridley's character, Rey, and next to her is what looks to be Jon Boyega's Finn, but out of his Stormtrooper gear and in some civvies. Finally we have the mysterious masked man (woman?), who resembles a character from some of the leaked concept art that's believed to be the person we see wielding the Lightsaber in the trailer, Kylo Ren. Another theory is that it might be whoever Gwendoline Christie is playing, as she's rumoured to be some sort of imperial inquisitor type. What do you guys think? Starring original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and franchise newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, »

Michelle MacLaren Says Wonder Woman Still Not Officially Greenlit

Vulture have posted a lengthy profile on Michelle MacLaren, who has signed on to helm Wonder Woman for Warner Bros. Though they do ask her about this, MacLaren obviously can't go into too much detail, though it seems that for the moment there really aren't many details to give anyway. The Game Of thrones/Walking Dead director does say that there's still no script or release date, and that the studio haven't actually given the project the green light yet. That'll happen in due time of course (barring any unforeseen hiccups that is), and we recently found out that Pan scribe Jason Fuchs was in negotiations to pen the script with MacLaren overseeing so there should be some movement on that soon too. Here is the pertinent portion of the article. There's not much there, but these are MacLaren's first comments on the matter since landing the gig. Be sure »

Exclusive: Channing Tatum As 'Venom'? Here's Who Else Sony Wanted For Sinister Six...

In emails from late May (before The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ended up being a critical and commercial failure and fans recoiled at the idea of a movie starring The Sinister Six), the spinoff was moving along at a steady pace. However, by the time October rolled around, there was talk of it also featuring Spider-Man, Venom, and Carnage. November meanwhile would see a deal with Marvel begin to fall into place...and then quickly fall apart if some reports are to be believed! Regardless, The Sinister Six has likely gone through a lot of iterations by now, but that makes the following no less interesting. If the movie does somehow happen? Here's who Sony might want! Thanks to musician Val Broeksmit of Bikini Robot Army (who sifted through these emails for us and provided us with proof of their authenticity), we know who Sony were considering for some of the »

Spider-man: Info On TASM2's Low Test Screening Scores, "Marc Webb Experience", And More

We've been looking through more of the "Sony Hack" emails, and they reveal some potentially very interesting details about the production of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In emails dated June 6th, 2014, Sony boss Amy Pascal addresses the possibility of putting Shailene Woodley's Mary Jane Watson back in the sequel after it had been revealed that the Divergent star had been cut. "I think it makes us look idiotic," she says. "And she may reapp ear someday," Pascal adds before dismissing the idea of putting the character's scenes back in the movie. She does however say yes to the alternate ending featuring the return of Peter Parker's father, but that obviously changed. Lexine Wong, Senior Executive VP, Worldwide Marketing of Sony, replies with, "people would Die for the shalene scene..." before producer Matt Tolmach half jokingly weighs in with, "i bet shalene would move the needle..." and quickly states in »
