New Behind-The-Scenes Featurette For Constantine Released

Based on the wildly popular DC Comics series "Hellblazer," seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult John Constantine (Matt Ryan) specializes in giving hell... hell. Armed with a ferocious knowledge of the dark arts and his wickedly naughty wit, he fights the good fight - or at least he did. With his soul already damned to hell, he's decided to leave his do-gooder life behind, but when demons target Liv (Lucy Griffiths), the daughter of one of Constantine's oldest friends, he's reluctantly thrust back into the fray - and he'll do whatever it takes to save her. Before long, it's revealed that Liv's "second sight" - an ability to see the worlds behind our world and predict supernatural occurrences - is a threat to a mysterious new evil that's rising in the shadows. Now it's not just Liv who needs protection; the angels are starting to get worried too. »

First Critics TV Spot For Gotham Hails The "Breathtaking" And "Stellar" New Series

Before there was Batman, there was Gotham. Everyone knows the name Commissioner Gordon. He is one of the crime world’s greatest foes, a man whose reputation is synonymous with law and order. But what is known of Gordon’s story and his rise from rookie detective to Police Commissioner? What did it take to navigate the multiple layers of corruption that secretly ruled Gotham City, the spawning ground of the world’s most iconic villains? And what circumstances created them – the larger-than-life personas who would become Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face and The Joker? Gotham is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told.   There's also some great new behind the scenes footage in the second video, while the first mostly resuses some familiar scenes from Gotham between the praise heaped upon it by critics so far. »

Ror Reviews: Dracula Untold

Remember that opening scene from Francis Ford Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula in which we see Vlad "The Impaler" curse God and damn himself to walk the Earth as a vampire? Well, add a few things here and there, extend it to 90 minutes and you have Dracula Untold. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing mind -- especially if you're a fan of the mythology. In what is apparently now being touted as the first movie in Universal's planned series of rebooted "Monsters" flicks, we find reformed murdering bastard Vlad Tepes (Luke Evans) attempting to live the good life as Prince of Wallachia with his adoring wife (Sarah Gadon) and son (Art Parkinson). When the Sultan Mehmed II (Dominic Cooper) arrives on his doorstep demanding 1,000 young boys (including Vlad's) to train as soldiers, Tepes turns to an ancient horror lurking in the mountains (Charles Dance) to harness the power to »

Ethan Hawke Interested In Doctor Strange Role; Praises Director Scott Derrickson

Ethan Hawke worked with director Scott Derrickson on Sinister and has recently been rumoured to be in the running for the lead role in Doctor Strange by an extremly unreliable site (if you got your hopes up that it was true, Variety's Marc Graser has already debunked it). In the following interview with MTV News, Hawke confirms that he would be very interested in playing the Marvel character if the filmmaker were to offer it to him. However, it's also clear that he hasn't been approached and while his interest and enthusiasm is great to see...he's no Joaquin Phoenix in all honesty! Get More: Movie Trailers, Celebrity News »

Miles Teller Says The Fantastic Four Director's Casting Decisions 'Took Lots Of Convincing'

Get More: Music News "When I was filming That Awkward Moment with Michael B. Jordan, he knew he was playing the Human Torch at that point," said Miles Teller when MTV asked about The Fantastic Four casting process. "He and [director] Josh Trank really bonded on Chronicle, and they came up with the [casting idea]. I think it’s great. It is a big thing. You’re changing the race of a character. It’s like, ‘Why couldn’t the Human Torch be black?’ All these characters were spawned in this time that everything - the races, social awareness - was so one-sided and very tunnel vision." About his own Mr. Fantastic casting process, Miles Teller says, "I ended up meeting Josh a year before and the script was going through some stuff... Then I tested for the role of Reed Richards; I think I'm the only person that did. But absolutely, it »

3-Year-Old Boy Born With No Fingers Receives Iron Man Hand

“He smiles so much. He brightens up now that he has that hand.” A 3-year-old Hawaiian boy, Rayden “Bubba” Kahae, was born with Amniotic Band Syndrome (Abs), which is a congenital fetal abnormality. His grandmother, Rulan Waikiki, explained to Hawaii’s KHON2, “It’s where the baby’s hands end up without some fingers, some with none, couple little stumps instead of fingers.” In Rayden's case, he ended up without any fingers on his right hand. As he got older his deformity began having a negative impact on his life. He would cry when people would ask to touch his stump and to avoid that unwanted attention Rayden would often hide his right hand in his pockets. Rayden's grandmother was compelled to find a solution and began looking into mechanical/prosthetic hands, which can go for as much as $40,000. But times have changed, and with advances in 3D-printing technology the »

Is This Our First Look At Leaked Footage From Star Wars Episode VII?

A video was uploaded to YouTube a little earlier this evening, but was quickly taken down and the account associated with it deleted. Does that lend credibility to the belief that it's really from Star Wars Episode VII. Perhaps! I'm personally not convinced, especially as we never actually see Mark Hamill's face and part of me thinks this reeks of someone with way too much time on their hands who wanted to fool the internet. Of course, it does have a reasonably legit look to it thanks to the Disney watermark and the fact that J.J. Abrams did apparently shoot some footage in Ireland's Skellig Michael Island earlier this year. If anything, this looks a lot like test footage and it does match up to a lot of what we've heard about where we pick up with Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Episode VII. What do you guys think? »

Badass Digest are back with another Star Wars Episode VII scoop and there's a lot of new information to mull over here! They start off with news on Max von Sydow's mysterious role, revealing that Kira (the name which is believed to belong to Daisy Ridley's character) is not the one to find Luke lightsaber as it is instead a "blue alien guy" who brings it to a salage yard where she discovers it. How does Sydow fit into this? Well, "She's hanging out there with von Sydow, who is an old cyborg dude, a guy who maybe has dementia. He talks a lot of nonsense. But as soon as that lightsbaber shows up, he gets lucid. He recognizes it. He begins to talk about the old days, name drops a couple of Prequel Trilogy characters, even. And then, after Kira and the alien leave he makes a »

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2, Episode 2 Marks New Ratings Low In Series' History

When Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returned last week, ratings were roughly the same as they were when season one came to an end earlier this year. That wasn't a great result, but not too terrible either. This week? Well, things aren't looking good for Marvel's first foray into live-action television. "Heavy is the Head" managed a 1.7 rating in the 18-49 demo and scored only 4.54 milion viewers, an all-time series low for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Though DVR numbers will help, the series just isn't attracting viewers for its live broadcasts...are people just not interested enough to watch live or is it that they just can't stand literally the most annoying live Tweet-along ever from Marvel and the cast? Regardless, what's notable about these numbers is that the show suffered a huge drop from the 5.98 million viewers who tuned in last week and this is the first time the show has »

In the season opener, “Within the Woods,” the team comes to grips with the possibility that Leonardo won’t get better, while things only get worse: a new mutant captures Raphael.   The season two finale of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Friday 8p-9p) was the #1 program of the day with Boys 2-11 (3.5/569K, +12% versus a year ago) and Boys 6-11 (4.4/428K, +37% versus a year ago) on all TV and averaged 1.6 million total viewers (up +8%). Adrianne Palicki Confirms "Discussions" About Adding 'Mockingbird' To The Avengers

In a recent interview with IGN, Adrianne Palicki revealed some new details about her take on Bobbi Morse in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s second season. Though we'd heard that the character will be Hydra's head of security, it does in fact sound as if the future superhero and wife of Hawkeye will indeed be on the side of the angels! "Bobbi Morse is another badass character. She was been working with S.H.I.E.L.D. for a bit… She gets along with the team very well," the actress revealed. However, it was when talk turned to Mockingbird's future that things got really interesting as Palicki confirmed that the possibility of her character making the jump to the big screen was discussed when she signed on for the role. "Absolutely – that was one of the things that was discussed when I was coming on for the part, »

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2, Episode 2 "Heavy is the Head" - The Breakdown

Agents second episode continues where the premiere left off, with Lance in distress in a crashed vehicle. His comrades all dead, the Obelisk with Creel and a set of boots approaching. Thankfully it was May and not someone else swooping in for a kill. While May did aid Lance (momentarily) she went off to pursue Creel. Lance who was too injured to assist in her pursuit stayed behind and was captured by Talbots soldiers. It's hard to complain about AoS because it has been so highly charged from the first scenes of its premiere. This episode followed suit, right from the start, not leting down with the followup. We got a larger peep hole into the background of the Terrestrial McU but it was still a peep hole. We get a better sense that there are other forces outside of Hydra at play for the Obelisk and Reina Flowers re-emerges into the arena. »

Chris Hemsworth Looks Forward To More Thor; Robert Downey Jr. Looks Back On Iron Man

It's no secret that Robert Downey Jr. is signed on to portray Tony Stark one more time in Avengers 3 after Age of Ultron next year, but for some reason, The Hollywood Reporter recently asked the Iron Man actor if he sees himself suiting again. "I'm sure we'll ride that thing," he said. "You've got to surf that all the way in to shore." He then looked back on the success of the first Iron Man movie and how he's credited with the launch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as the ever-growing superhero movie trend. "I think I was at the forefront of something that was coming into being, and I think it has carried me as much as I have informed it," said Downey. "That's the healthy way to look at it. It's so easy to become inflated by the successes, but what they really are are long, »

Tim DeKay To Play Agent Ward's Older Brother In Season Two Of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.

We're going to learn a lot more about Grant Ward in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. very soon as Zap2it have revealed that his abusive older brother will be played by Tim DeKay in episode six, "A Fractured Rose". The White Collar has been cast as Senator Maynard Ward, and the site speculate that this is possibly the man General Glenn Talbot made reference to in the most recent episode when he talked about a "senator with deep pockets". Based on Ward's stories about his older brother, it's hard to imagine him being particularly nice guy. In fact, it was Maynard who bullied Grant to the point that he would burn down the family home and ultimately end up in Hydra's clutches when John Garrett recruited him to the villainous agency from a juvenile detention facility. What do you guys think about this latest addition to the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? »

James Marsden Has A Perfect Suggestion For Who Should Play 'Cyclops' In X-men: Apocalypse

In a recent interview with Yahoo! Movies, James Marsden was asked who he thinks should play Cyclops in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse. The actor actually had a very fitting suggestion when he brought up Luke Bracey, the upcoming Point Break remake star who plays a younger version of Marsden in The Best of Me. "Yeah, that’d be great [if Luke Bracey took over as Cyclops]," he said before jokingly adding, "Then he could just eventually take over being me. Then I would never get another role as long as I live!" Though he may be a little too old at 25 if Singer is planning on making Scott, Jean and Storm teenagers, he does seem like a good fit. However, Marsden isn't entirely convinced that he's quite done with the role just yet after his cameo in X-Men: Days of Future Past. "Who knows what’s happening [with ‘X-Men’]? It’s all just »

New "Trafalgar Square" Featurette & Deleted Scene From Edge Of Tomorrow

Doug Liman's Edge of Tomorrow, which starred superstar Tom Cruise & Emily Blunt in the lead roles, was hands-down one of the best films of the summer. It may have stumbled out of the gates at the box office, but it picked itself up and proved to be quite a sleeper hit with a worldwide gross of over $369M. With the film arriving on Blu-ray/DVD next Tuesday (10/7), a few special features from the release have been released early, including a brand new featurette, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, where we're given a behind-the-scenes look at the opening sequence when Tom Cruise's character lands in Trafalgar Square. This was the first time in history anyone has been given permission to first shut down and then land a helicopter in one of London's most popular tourist attractions. I guess being one of the world's biggest movie stars has its perks! Check it out below! »
