Excerpt From The Man Of Steel Novelization Reveals That Zod And Jor-El Were Childhood Friends

IGN has gotten their hands on the novelization of Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, written by Greg Cox and published by Titan Books. The brief excerpt they've published covers the opening cinematics of Krypton's doom and the struggle between Jor-El (Russell Crowe), Zod (Michael Shannon) and the High Council. Also, it's revealed that Faora (Antje Traue) was known as the 'Tigress of Zod'...how Krypton knows about tigers is anyone's guess. ...The terrorist leader, whom he had once considered a friend, was accompanied by his top lieutenants. Jor-El knew them, as well—if only by reputation. Lithe and pitiless, Faora-Ul was known and feared throughout Krypton as the “Tigress of Zod.” She stalked beside her general, wearing a predatory smile on her face. Cropped black hair matched her dark uniform and cape. Although attractive in her own fierce way, she struck Jor-El as being as vicious and violent as Lara was warm and gentle. »

X-men Origins: Wolverine Storyboards With Deleted Sabretooth Scene; Exclusive Bts Blob Clip

Ricardo Delgado is a veteran artist, working on major motion pictures and television shows since the early 90's. Below you will find two set of storyboards that he created for Gavin Hood's X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The first set is of a scene that was never filmed, but it would've involved Liev Schreiber's Victor Creed (Sabretooth) quickly snuffing out the life of a wolverine. And when I say wolverine, I mean the animal, not Hugh Jackman's character. The second set is actually even more interesting, as it involves Wolverine and the Hindenberg disaster. The storyboards were merely created for a possible Word War II marketing idea, but those plans were abandoned. Ricardo describes them as, "I still don't know why I did these storyboards. I had just been hired and before starting on the actual movie a few of us storyboarders were asked to do historical boards for 'marketing purposes'. »

A few days ago, it was reported that Universal was planning on releasing Jurassic Park 4 in 2015, after pushing it off the June '14 schedule to rework the script. It was confirmed early on that the long in-development fourquel, which will be directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) from a script originally written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes), would be released in 3D. Coming Soon is attending the Licensing Expo 2013 this week in Las Vegas, and they spotted a promo poster (which you can see below) confirming that Universal is targeting a 2015 release. Stephen Amell Says Bigger Characters Than Green Arrow Appearing In Arrow Season 2

"The thing that makes me most excited about the show is that when we were up shooting the pilot, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim came to me with ideas for Season One - 'Here's where we're looking at taking Season One.' All of these things happened, all of these fleshed out ideas ended up taking place. They sat me down [again] after my last post-production work for Season One back in Los Angeles and Andrew Kreisberg sat me down and gave me the big pitch and then after I got the pitch he went 'Ok, here's the game-changer.' And the game-changer is a 'game-changer.' I can't say [specifics] but it's something and some people that aren't just familiar to DC Comics fans...they're like...more familiar than Green Arrow." Now Amell was careful not to give away any specifics but his words and his body language leads me to »

Comics: Killer Croc Features On "Villains Month" Cover For Batman & Robin #23.4

Say Tim Seeley on his version of Killer Croc: "I think there's a tendency to tell stories about Croc where he's just a monster who doesn't understand things. Maybe he can't understand romance or people, and it's just dumb. At the end of all these Croc stories, he just flops down and gets arrested. I don't know why. I knew I had to tell a story about how, despite his obvious difficulties in looking like a monster and everybody thinking he's dumb, he rises above that. What's he got going for him? What are the things that make Croc completely different from all the other Batman bad guys?" More at the link below. In the future of Cbm.com there will be ...a mobile app

I am going to keep this as short as possible...I very rarely make my way to a computer to look at your supremely awesome website. The fact is that every article I've contributed to this site has been on my Android. That is why I am pleading with the creators and owners of this site to just bring us a mobile app that would make it easier and more enjoyable to the guys that don't have regular access to a computer to contribute and enjoy the site as much as those that do. Don't get me wrong I will still use the site regardless but it would just be nice. I first got into this site because one month a magazine I really enjoyed since it's inception, had ceased to exist. Just poof and Wizard Magazine was gone. So I implore you to do the next logical step »

Anthony Mackie Talks Captain America: Tws; New Details On 'The Falcon'

Entertainment Weekly has posted a very interesting interview with Anthony Mackie, that no fan of the actor should miss. In it the site confirm that this movie incarnation of his character, The Falcon, is indeed an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., adding that although he'll be a peer of Black Widow (Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), “his sense of duty makes him less cynical and closer to the salute-the-flag sensibility of [Steve] Rogers.” Mackie also explains to the site that his take on Falcon is “a really smart guy who went through major military training and becomes a tactical leader, he’s not some guy that fell into this.” The comic version of Sam Wilson has always been a loyal friend to Steve Rogers, implacable in his sense of honor and duty, and it seems that will definitely carry over to this big-screen version. “The most important thing »
