First Look At 'Doctor Doom' In leaked Images From The Fantastic Four Reboot

The website Geek Pride reckons these are leaked images from the set of Fox's Fantastic Four reboot, and looking at them gives us no reason to doubt them. Following on from our first look at the Thing a while ago, we now appear to have the very first pics of Doctor Doom, who will be played by Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes actor Toby Kebbell. You'll notice who could well be a Human Torch stand-in in one pic too, and the stocky guy in the other is apparently Jamie Bell's Thing stunt double. What do you think? Josh Trank directs Fantastic Four, which also stars Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, and Tim Blake Nelson. »

The Wolverine's Rila Fukushima Replaces Devon Aoki As 'Katana' In Arrow

Deadline reports that Rila Fukushima has been cast as Tatsu Yamashiro in the third season of Arrow. She replaces 2 Fast 2 Furious' Devon Aoki who has apparently departed The CW series due to scheduling conflicts. It's described as a major recurring role as the character is expected to play a big part in Oliver Queen's flashbacks this year, so it could be that the actress was unable to commit to such a demanding schedule. Regardless, The Wolverine star is now set to play the woman who becomes known as Katana. She's described as, "one of Oliver’s mentors in the flashbacks and a critical influence on his journey to eventually become The Arrow of present day." Of course, most fans are interested more in whether we'll see her suit up as Katana in Starling City »

Oh Look, Underworld Is Getting Rebooted, How Nice

Looks like the day has finally arrived in which Kate Beckinsale no longer has to squeeze into a dominatrix outfit (nothing wrong with that) to play the gun-toting vampire, Selene. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Lakeshore Entertainment has decided to reboot their very lucrative Underworld franchise. They've hired Cory Goodman to pen the reboot. Goodman is responsible for writing Paul Bettany's Priest (2011) and Vin Diesel's upcoming film, The Last Witch Hunter, which is current in production.  The first Underworld film, directed by Len Wiseman and starring Kate Beckinsale, was released in 2003. Playing the strong vampiress Selena made Beckinsale into a bankable action star, and three films followed in 2006 (Underworld: Evolution), 2009 (prequel Underworld: Rise of the Lycans) and 2012 (Underworld: Awakening). »

Update: Charlie Hunnam In Final Negotiations To Play Guy Ritchie's King Arthur

Deadline report that the Son of Anarchy himself, Charlie Hunnam, has been lined up to star as the good King Arthur Pendragon in Guy Ritchie's take on the legendary tale, which is now officially titled Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur. Apparently Hunnam is now in final negotiations, and a deal looks like a sure thing. The project also has Cbm fave and Hunnam's Pacific Rim costar Idris Elba on board, and although the Thor: The Dark World actor was originally said to be playing a character called Bedivere, Deadline reckon it'll actually be Merlin the Wizard! The site also confirm that WB are planning a six film saga. There have been various movies, comics and tv shows based around Arthurian legend over the years, including the underrated Camelot and the mediocre Disney produced flick with Clive Owen in the title role. The most successful take was arguably John Boorman »

Sexual Abuse Lawsuit Against X-men Director Bryan Singer Dropped By Accuser

Four months after being accused of abusing Michael Eagen when he was a minor, the sexual abuse lawsuit against X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer has been dropped. The case was a huge talking point both here on Cbm and across pretty much the rest of the internet as well. Singer would drop out of promoting the latest X-Men movie as a result of the accusations, while his involvement with 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse very much seemed to be up in the air and dependent on how things ended up going for Singer with this lawsuit. According to Variety, a federal judge granted Egan's motion for voluntary dismissal in U.S. District Court in Hawaii today, meaning that the case against the director of 2014's highest grossing superhero movie has now been dropped. The lawsuits against former Disney executive David Neuman and former TV exec Garth Ancier were also dismissed, »

Jessica Chastain Asks: Where Is Scarlett Johansson's Marvel Solo Movie?

In the past, Jessica Chastain ("Interstellar") was supposed to appear in Iron man 3 but due to a scheduling conflict she couldn't participate. She was also rumored to be up for the female lead in Ant-Man at one time and passed on that too. Now Jessica is speaking up for Marvel's most successful female actress, Scarlett Johansson. Wondering where is her solo Marvel film? “Where is the Scarlett Johansson superhero movie? I don't understand it, why is it taking so long for this?” Chastain asked TheWrap, rhetorically and with no small degree of animation. “This woman clearly shows that people want to go see her in the movies. ‘Lucy,’ didn't it beat ‘Hercules’ by a lot opening weekend, when it was made for a lot less? She shows that she kicks ass, she's a great actress. ‘Under the Skin’ is an incredible film, and why are we still waiting for »

More From Jeremy Renner On 'Hawkeye' In Avengers: Age Of Ultron; "I Don't Die"

Jeremy Renner recently appeared in an episode of Larry King Now, and the follwing clip has been released of him discussing his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It kicks off with some talk about how he landed the part, as well as what's in store for Clint Barton after Avengers: Age of Ultron ("No man, I don’t die. They are going to keep me around for a while."). Of course, thanks to the recent reveal that he may be turning up in Captain America 3, that's no great surprise! Oh, and before you go getting too hysterical about that "We're not doing Shakespeare" comment, pay close attention to what Renner then says about how a movie like The Avengers differs to more serious projects and why the role of Hawkeye still involves giving it his 100%. Be sure to check out a new image of the character in »

Guardians Of The Galaxy: 10 Reasons Why It Was Amazing!

I wrote a very controversial list of what I believe made this movie Suck prior to writing this list. I did that for a very specific reason. Call it "clickbait" or trying to rouse the masses. In the end, it's actually to get people to think. Usually for most Cbm's we're all relatively divided with solid gripes and arguments for and against on both ends. For Guardians, which I genuinely enjoyed, It seemed a large portion of the community is completely enamored with the film without allowing anything said to the contrary of the films greatness. To do so has been marked with ridicule, or in my experience, marked as a "Champion of the DC cause against Marvel". Most of the readers on Cbm that have read my pieces understand I am extremely objective and nitpicky over all types of details. I try to bring something to the table that »
