Gotham: Robin Lord Taylor Teases The First Meeting Between 'Penguin' & 'Riddler'

In the DC Comics and the likes of the animated series and the '60s TV show etc, Batman's villains team up all the time in an effort to take down the Dark Knight once and for all, but obviously we haven't nearly reached the point that we'd begin to see something like that happen on Fox's Gotham... yet. These Bat-baddies are only starting out, and although Robin Lord Taylor's Oswald Cobblepot is taking more and more steps to becoming the master-villain we know as the Penguin, Cory Michael Smith's Ed Nygma hasn't even emerged as an antagonist at the point we're at in this origin story. While speaking to Cbr about what's in store for his character, Taylor reveals that at some point in the remaining season 1 episodes, Nygma and Cobblepot will meet, and it'll be "one of the top three things" he's been a part of in the series. »

My Most Anticipated CBMs

1. Captain America: Civil War This movie will be based on one of my favorite storylines of all time! The cast will be amazing and it's from the same directors of the masterpiece, Captain America: Winter Soldier. Think about the awesomeness of seeing Captain America fighting Iron Man. Not to mention Black Panther and the cameo of Spider-Man. 2. Avengers: Infinity War Parts 1 & 2 Thanos will face the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy! Spider-Man will also have a significant role in this(depending on Sony). Thanos with the Infinity Gems will be pure Epicness on the screen. Think about all of the possibilities of this film. Also, the Russo Brothers will direct it, that's a huge Win for Marvel. 3. Avengers: Age of UItron This is the sequel to the third highest film of All Time and one of the best CBMs ever. The trailers look very spectacular and Epic. I »

Will Gareth Edwards' Star Wars Movie Feature Both 'Boba Fett' And 'Han Solo'?

At various points, every character from Jabba the Hutt to Yoda to Jar Jar Binks (okay, maybe not the last guy) has been mentioned as the possible focus of one of the planned Star Wars spin-offs in the works at Lucasfilm/Disney -- but the prevailing rumor about the plot of Gareth Edwards' first standalone flick was that it would tell the tale of Boba Fett and his gang trying to retrieve plans for the first Death Star. Now, Latino Review claim to have some new information that puts Han Solo and his iconic ship, the Millennium Falcon, right there along with the enigmatic bounty hunter and his pals. This does make sense, as we've been hearing conflicting reports on which of the two classic characters this first spin-off would be about, and that might simply be because they'll both be involved. In the original trilogy it was definitely »

Margot Robbie On Playing Suicide Squad's 'Harley Quinn', Working With Jared Leto, And More

Get More: Movie Trailers, Celebrity News MTV News caught up with Margot Robbie at the Sundance Film Festival to talk Suicide Squad, and they started off by asking the actress how she feels to be the first actress to bring Harley Quinn to life on the big screen. "Yeah, I guess it’s intimidating because there’s obviously a lot of people I want to please, and a character I have to do justice, but it’s a challenge, I’m definitely up for it, and hopefully I don’t disappoint." Unfortunately, when the site asked if she has a specific voice in mind, she couldn't give too many details away about the project as it's still in such early stages. "We haven’t gotten too far into it, we’re still pretty far off. I’m actually shooting a movie before that, so my focus is kind of on that at the moment, »

Confirmed: Luke Evans Exits The Crow Reboot; Hunt For New Star Begins

The Wrap confirms that Luke Evans will Not star in The Crow reboot. That's hardly a surprise after his comments earlier today, but the Dracula Untold actor did at least seem open to the idea of playing the character at some point in the distant future . Relativity won't be waiting for that though, as the remake of the cult classic is moving ahead without the busy Welsh actor.    Production hasn't been going well, with original director D. Javier Gutierrez departing to reboot The Ring franchise. It was then that Corin Hardy took over, but he's been busy finishing off working on The Hallow (which debuts at Sundance this week). This will give Hardy a chance to find his own leading man. Could he once again turn to Tom Hiddleston? The site mentions that he had an "impressive makeup test", but as he passed, it's hard to imagine they'll be able »

Julia Roberts Will Produce & Star In A Batkid Begins Movie

Batkid Begins: The Wish Heard Around The World premièred today at the Slamdance Film festival, but it looks like we'll be getting another movie telling the story of Miles Scott's awesome Make-a-Wish Foundation-sponsored day as Batkid from Julia Roberts, who according to Deadline has closed a deal to produce and star in a feature adaptation. On November 15, 2013, 5-year-old leukemia patient Miles Scott got his wish to be the Caped Crusader granted when thousands of volunteers helped turn San Francisco into Gotham City for a day. It's a story that touched us all, and saw 25,000 San Fran supporters as well as many more on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, tracking Miles' exploits across the city through a series of staged missions. Which role Roberts will play is unknown (Miles' mother perhaps?), but the Batkid documentary's director Dana Nachman will executive produce along Submarine’s Josh Braun and Dan Braun. What do »

Is this a video game footage of Henry Cavill's Superman battling Ben Affleck's Batman? Nope! Years ago, the video game developer Double Helix was designing a Justice League, aka Green Lantern: A Justice League Game, for Xbox 360. It was never released. In 2012, some concept art and screenshots were leaked, but outside of that we haven't seen footage from it. Until now! Watch as the Caped Crusader and the Big Blue Boy Scout hammer on each other. I won't tell you who wins. You'll have to watch until the end to find out. »

Luke Evans Reaffirms That He Probably Will Not Star In The Crow

Luke Evans' Dracula Untold may have been derided by film critics but it earned $215.5 M Usd at the global box office off an estimated production budget of $70 M Usd.  Hollywood typically sours on actors if they become box office poison and Evans definitely doesn't fit that definition, starring in Furious 6 and The Hobbit franchise in just the last two years.  Still, it appears that Relativity and Evans are prepared to part ways on the project as Evans has stated that he's busy filming other projects for the next year and filming on The Crow reboot projected to begin this Spring.  In fact, it sounds like Relativity is not in contact with Evans at all anymore, concerning the cult -classic Caliber Comics adaptation.  "Right now I’m not sure where it is, I don’t know what’s happening with it.  I think it’s a question probably to ask [distributor] Relativity… »

James Marsden Weighs In On Tye Sheridan Playing 'Cyclops' In X-men: Apocalypse

It was announced just a couple days ago that Tye Sheridan will tackle the role of Scott Summers aka Cyclops in X-Men: Apocalypse which will be the 1980s iteration of the mutant that was originally portrayed by actor James Marsden in the present-day X-Men trilogy as well as a cameo appearance in last year's X-Men: Days of Future Past. Well, Marsden was attending the Sundance Film Festival today in Utah where HitFix had pressed him for thoughts on his  Cyclops successor. "I think he's a wonderfully talented actor who blew me away in Mud," said Marsden of Tye Sheridan and his 2012 breakout role. "I've never seen a kid that young be that present and that powerful. So, I think he's a perfect fit and I congratulate him." Video of the 30-second interview can be found below in addition to some pretty cool fan art (by BossLogic) featuring Tye Sheridan as Cyclops. »

Video: Watch The Avengers Cut In The Style Of Zack Snyder's Watchmen Trailer

24 January 2015 6:02 AM, PST

Last week, we shared a very impressive Star Wars/Age Of Ultron trailer from YouTube editor, The Unusual Suspect. It seems he's been up to his old tricks again, delivering another entertaining little mash-up. This time, he turns his focus on Joss Whedon's original Avengers movie and Zack Snyder's Watchmen. The video features footage from Marvel's 2012's smash hit, re-cut in the style of Snyder's epic trailer - arguably one of the best Cbm teasers of all time. Check it out below: Perhaps what's most impressive here is the way he manages to seemlessly blend together two movies with such contrasting tones. It's also always great to hear that Smashing Pumpkins theme again. The Unusual Suspect has been making waves for some time now. If you haven't already, I'd recommend you check out some of his other works over on his channel. What did you guys think? Are »

Spoiler Warning: Check Out That Awesome Final Scene From This Week's Arrow

24 January 2015 5:50 AM, PST

While the return of Katana in the present day was shocking enough, the wording used here by Maseo ("I asked her to come here...so she could bring you back to life") is particularly interesting. His wounds appeared to be far too severe to be brought back by conventional means, so is Arrow about to introduce some mystical elements? Ra's al Ghul has already indicated that he's hundreds of years old, so perhaps Katana had access to a Lazarus Pit? Share your theories below. »

David Ayer Teases A Suicide Squad Writing Session

23 January 2015 10:30 PM, PST

Though losing Tom Hardy and his hopeful 'Rick Flag' replacement, Jake Gyllenhaal, is evidently a setback for the hotly-anticipated Suicide Squad adaptation, you would think David Ayer was taking it all in stride based on his latest post on Twitter. Obviously, the writer/director will not address the casting mishap on social media, but he did just share a photo from a scripting session, showing that the Warner Bros. production is still moving along as it nears its summer start date. Check out the photo below as it also offers a glimpse of David Ayer's script and  what appears to be a storyboard doodle. Anyway, we may know who's currently being courted to play Rick Flag and General Eiling in the movie, but Suicide Squad stars Will Smith (Deadshot), Jared Leto (the Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), with Jessie Eisenberg (Lex Luther), and »

Playing The Red Ranger Would Be A Dream Come True For Robbie Amell

23 January 2015 9:30 PM, PST

Late last night, Robbie Amell, who already plays the badass Firestorm in the hit CW series The Flash, expressed interest in playing one of most iconic superheroes of the past two decades, the Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger! The upcoming Power Rangers reboot, which is due out July 22, 2016, has flown under the radar for the most part, possibly due to the high volume of heavyweight CBMs also releasing in the 2016 calendar year. However, with rumors that the new Mmpr film will shoot sometime this year, it shouldn't be too long before we start to hear casting news. So, nice time for a segue, would Robbie Amell, who describes playing the Red Ranger as a childhood dream, be a good fit for the film? Although he is slightly older than a teenager at 26, he certainly has the acting chops and also shares a similar look with the original Red »
