WonderCon: Warner Bros. Previews Its Summer Slate

The second day of WonderCon 2014 launched Saturday morning in Anaheim, California with Warner Bros. Pictures taking the Arena stage to showcase its summer slate, previewing Doug Liman's Edge of Tomorrow , Steven Quale's Into the Storm and Gareth Edwards' Godzilla . Star Bill Paxton was onstage to represent Edge of Tomorrow , which debuted an extended version of the recent trailer . "[It looked like] ancient Rome meets Cecil B. WonderCon: New Batman Beyond Animated Short Continues 75 Year Celebration

Fresh from the Warner Bros. panel at WonderCon and continuing the celebration started by Bruce Timm's short last week , WB has debuted a new Batman-themed animated short (via Yahoo! ) celebrating the Dark Knight's 75th anniversary. Directed by artist Darwyn Cooke, the short takes place in the fan-favorite world of "Batman Beyond" and features the return of cast members Kevin Conroy and Will Friedle to the characters they voiced in the 1999 series. Spider-Man Producer Says Avengers Crossover is a Last Resort

Warner Home Video has debuted another clip from their upcoming DC animated film Son of Batman , featuring the dynamic duo taking on a group of Man-Bats.
