Chennai, April 21: Director Surendar Reddy, who is beaming with happiness following the success of his recent Telugu film "Race Gurram", says his wife also deserves to be credited for the movie's success. He says she was always there to support him.

Chennai, April 21: Southern actress Simran Bagga will croon for the first time in upcoming Tamil comedy "Kathai Thiraikkadhai Vasanam Iyakkam". The movie's director R. Parthepan says she is a great singer.

"A few years back, Simran told me she was interested in singing besides acting. I wanted to give her an opportunity back then, but things didn't work out as planned. She has crooned a song in my latest film and she has the voice to be a great singer too," Parthepan told Ians.

RiRi to star in first 3D animated film with black lead

London, April 21: Rihanna has been roped in the first 3D animated film to have a black lead character.

Sources revealed that the Barbadian singer will voice the character of Tip in Dreamworks' forthcoming movie 'Home', which is based on Adam Rex's children's book 'The True Meaning of Smekday', Metro.co.uk reported.

'Home', which has been described as a post-apocalyptic-alien-invasion-buddy-comedy, will be the first 3D animation to have a black girl as the hero and Dreamworks' third female protagonist.

'Caustic Love,' his third record, has managed to sell more than 100,000 sales in just a week, the BBC reported.

Top doc declares booze 'helps drinkers to live longer'

London, April 21: Top doctor Dr Kari Poikolainen has dismissed the widely accepted notion that men should have no more than four units of alcohol a day and instead said 13 units - equivalent of six pints of strong ale - a day was ok.

Dr Poikolainen's studies, based on decades of research into the effects of booze, suggest drinkers live longer than people who don't drink, Daily Star reported.
