Now a coat named after Duchess of Cambridge

London, June 20: Designer label MaxMara has named a coat after the Duchess of Cambridge after the royal wore one of their designs during an official visit in 2012.
The Italian haute couture brand has paid tribute to Duchess Catherine by naming one of their outerwear pieces, The Kate, reports contactmusic.com.
The Duchess, who is just weeks away from giving birth to her first child with Prince William, wore the beige cashmere coat during a visit to Cambridge, southern England, last November. As a result, it sold out instantly.

Mumbai, June 19: Producer-director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who is all set to release his film, "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag", based on the life of former athlete Milkha Singh, said that the film was not based on sports and could have been on anybody in an endeavour to show the human spirit.
"I will like to clarify that the film is not based on sports or about a sportsman. It is about the triumph of the human spirit. What I saw was a story of a boy who lost his parents in his childhood at 12 years. Mumbai, June 19: "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" director-producer Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Wednesday rubbished rumours of the film being banned in Pakistan, saying on the contrary, they had got three different offers from there and also an invite to the entire cast and crew.

Nepal-Africa film festival opens with 'Earth Anthem'

Kathmandu, June 19: The third edition of the Nepal-Africa Film Festival opened with the screening of "Earth Anthem", a short film written, produced and directed by Indian poet-diplomat Abhay K.
The screening of the 2.5-minute-long film was held Wednesday at the Russian Cultural Centre in the Nepal capital. It was attended by celebrities of the Nepalese film industry.
The "Earth Anthem", originally a poem written by Abhay K. in 2009, has been set to music by Sapan Ghimire, a composer from Darjeeling. It has been sung by Shreya Sotang of Nepal.

'Bigg Boss Kannada' TRPs soaring

Mumbai, June 19: Reality show "Bigg Boss Kannada", hosted by southern movie star Sudeep, has surpassed the popularity of Kannada version of the "Kaun Banega Crorepati" (Kbc) game show with a 4.7 Trp rating and as many as 47,000 votes for individual contestants.
