Now a coat named after Duchess of Cambridge

London, June 20: Designer label MaxMara has named a coat after the Duchess of Cambridge after the royal wore one of their designs during an official visit in 2012.

The Italian haute couture brand has paid tribute to Duchess Catherine by naming one of their outerwear pieces, The Kate, reports contactmusic.com.

The Duchess, who is just weeks away from giving birth to her first child with Prince William, wore the beige cashmere coat during a visit to Cambridge, southern England, last November. As a result, it sold out instantly.

Nepal-Africa film festival opens with 'Earth Anthem'

Kathmandu, June 19: The third edition of the Nepal-Africa Film Festival opened with the screening of "Earth Anthem", a short film written, produced and directed by Indian poet-diplomat Abhay K.

The screening of the 2.5-minute-long film was held Wednesday at the Russian Cultural Centre in the Nepal capital. It was attended by celebrities of the Nepalese film industry.

'Bigg Boss Kannada' TRPs soaring

Mumbai, June 19: Reality show "Bigg Boss Kannada", hosted by southern movie star Sudeep, has surpassed the popularity of Kannada version of the "Kaun Banega Crorepati" (Kbc) game show with a 4.7 Trp rating and as many as 47,000 votes for individual contestants.
