Doubt: Katherine Heigl Pregnancy Won't Affect New CBS Series

Doubt will arrive on CBS at midseason, and the latest pregnancy news of its star will not affect the series. Doubt stars Katherine Heigl, who was last seen on television on State of Affairs on NBC.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the new series will start production next month, and there are plans to work around her pregnancy. She is expecting her third child with husband Josh Kelley. The couple has two adopted daughters.

Heigl shared a sonogram of her next arrival, a boy, on her website earlier this week, and she said the following in a post on her website, according to Us Magazine:

“The whole pregnancy thing is new to me, but the thrill of having a baby is not. We’ve known for a while that we wanted to add to our family »

General Hospital: 2015-16 Season Ratings (updated 6/24/16)

Perhaps because ABC owns General Hospital outright, the network sometimes doesn't announce if their sole surviving soap opera has been renewed for another season. However, they'd certainly let us know if the show had been cancelled! Since the soap is still airing, we can assume they renewed it for 2015-16. Will Gh survive to see a 54th season? How will it do in the ratings? Stay tuned.

Debuting on April 1st of 1963, General Hospital revolves around the loves, lives, and deaths of the people of Port Charles, New York.
