Rgv announces his next titled Xes

He has just announced his next film titled Xes, whose poster he has posted on twitter as well as his Facebook wall. Speaking about this film, he says, "Xes will be the first Hindi film I am going to do in my attempt to travel in that direction...The will to power and the urge of physical desire are the two most primary motivating forces in human instinct. In the film Xes I intend to explore that facet of the human mind to its upper limit by placing an assortment of characters in six different sexual situations which will be all connected through one central story line. Jacqueline Fernandez to star in Sri Lankan film

The beautiful Jacqueline Fernandez, who, after opening a restaurant in Colombo, will now be seen in a Sri Lankan film According To Mathew. Amitabh Bachchan sings for Sanjay Dutts Hasmukh Pighal Gaya

The last time we heard Amitabh Bachchan's trademark voice in a song was in Bhoothnath Returns. This time round, he has recorded one more song in his own voice for the Sanjay Dutt Productions' film Hasmukh Pighal Gaya. The song in question is the remixed version of the yesteryear's superhit track 'Kisiki Muskurahton Pe', which was originally sung by the legendary singer Mukesh. This song will see Big B grooving to the beats and doing Salsa with the other actors of the film. Anindita Nayar, who plays the female lead in the film, was all praise for Big B and his dedicated sincerity towards every step of the song. Why is Jagga Jasoos delayed Anurag Basu clarifies

The very talented Anurag Basu, whose last film was the highly acclaimed and successful Barfi came two years ago, won't have any release this year. In a candid conversation, Anurag clarifies that the film won't release before mid 2015 as shooting of Jagga Jasoos has been at a slackened pace. Says Anurag, "Jagga Jasoos was planned as a quickie. But Ranbir Kapoor (who is the film's co-producer) has been shooting simultaneously for Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet. We've to shoot Jagga Jasoos during the gaps in the shooting of Bombay Velvet. We completed one schedule. Now we'll go into a lengthy schedule from August. By the end of the year, the shooting would be complete." Akshay Kumars Its Entertainment re-titled as Entertainment

The soon to release film It's Entertainment starring Akshay Kumar has now been renamed to Entertainment. This change in the title of the film written and directed by Sajid-Farhad, will be shown in the next few days in all the film's posters and trailers. Commenting on the title change, the producer of the film Ramesh Taurani says, "Yes from the beginning, we just wanted to have a one word title and we are okay with Entertainment. The title was registered with some other production house but we got it on Wednesday. So I am happy that we have this title with us". Jackie Shroff cast in Nick Noltes role in Dharmas Warrior remake

Its common knowledge by now that Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra will soon be seen essaying the roles of Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton respectively in the remake of the 2011 film Warrior. Now we hear that Jackie Shroff has been roped in to essay the role of the sibling's alcoholic father, originally played by Nick Nolte for which the actor even won an Oscar. The film revolves around two brothers who meet each other in the boxing ring, and will be directed by Karan Malhotra. Confirming the news, Jackie Shroff says that he is pretty excited about the film and will commence shooting for the same from September onwards. Zohra Sehgal passes away

Bollywood lost yet another precious gem yesterday. And the gem was none other than the iconic actress and dancer Zohra Sehgal, who breathed her last in a New Delhi hospital. Readers may recall that the ever-smiling actress celebrated her 102nd birthday in April this year. Born as Sahibzadi Zohra Begum Mumtaz-ullah Khan, she captured every cinegoers heart with stellar performances in all her films. She made her film debut in 1946 with Dharti Ke Lal, which was followed by Chetan Anand's Neecha Nagar, a film that won the top prize at the first Cannes Film Festival in 1946. Scoop Mary Kom to release with Daawat-e-Ishq Priyanka versus Parineeti again

Last year on 5th September, the feisty first-cousins Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra collided at the box office with Zanjeer and Shuddh Desi Romance, respectively. Back then it was Parineeti who walked away with all the revenues Looks like the sisters are destined to clash again. News comes that the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali -Viacom 18's production Mary Kom is being pre-poned. The Olympian boxer's bio-pic was earlier scheduled for October 2. But with the Hrithik Roshan starrer Bang Bang and Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider occupying the coveted 3-day weekend Friday of Gandhi Jayanti, Mary Kom is being rush-released on September 5. Revealed Rowdy Rathore sequel to go on floor next year

The Prabhu Dheva directed film Rowdy Rathore that released in 2012 featuring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, was a turning point in Akshay's career. Ending his dry spell at the box office, Rowdy Rathore kick started Akshay's journey to the coveted Rs. 100 crore club. Now two years later, we hear that the film which was a remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu, is all set to have a sequel. In fact the sequel will yet again have Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shabina Khan teaming up to produce the same. The decision to make a sequel to the film was taken last week and once again the film will top line Akshay as the main lead and be directed by Prabhu Dheva. However the rest of the cast is yet to be locked. The filming of Rowdy Rathore 2 will commence only next year. Currently the makers are in the process of locking a script for the film. »

Preity Zinta submits photographs showing bruises caused by Ness Wadia

By now, a lot has been said and written about the Preity Zinta- Ness Wadia case. The latest update in the case is that, when Preity met Rakesh Maria (Mumbai Police Commissioner) recently, she had apparently submitted four photographs of hers which has the images of the bruises caused to her due to Ness' manhandling. Reports state that these photographs are the image grabs from the footage provided by the Bcci. Media reports also state that, the police are of the stand that if the photographs (submitted by Preity) are genuine, then they will act as a crucial piece of evidence against Ness. »

Newsbreak Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in Kabir Khans Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Director par excellence Kabir Khan, best remembered for his film Kabul Express, New York and the 2012 Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger, is all set to work with Salman again. It is learnt that Kabir is set to work with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor for his next film titled Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

The film which will be presented by Salman himself under his own company 'Salman Khan Ventures', will have Salman play the role of the title character Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Commenting on the film Kabir says that the story of the film will be very relevant to today's times and will feature a larger-than-life background with a human story. With the shooting commencing this November, the film will be shot across many parts of India and is slated to release on Eid next year.

Court exonerates Gaurang Doshi of financial obligations towards former wife Madhuri

After Kapil Sharma Riteish Deshmukh cast as lead in Yash Raj Films Bank Chor

A while back it was headlines that comedian Kapil Sharma had opted out of his Bollywood debut film Bank Chor. While speculation has been rife about the reasons behind his opting out we hear that Riteish Deshmukh has been roped in to replace Kapil.

Announcing the same Yrf has decided to really scale up the Y-Films project by bringing in Riteish, who has one of the most successful track records in the industry. Bank Chor is scheduled to go on the floors immediately and is planned for an early 2015 release.

Irrfan Khan to produce Mira Nairs nephews film

After co-producing and acting in the much acclaimed film The Lunchbox, Irrfan Khan will now be seen as the creative producer of an (untitled) film for which he is collaborating with Mira Nair. This film will also mark the directorial debut of Mira's nephew, Ishaan Nair. Reports state that, while this film will be financed by Shailesh Singh, the film's screenplay will be co-written by Irrfan's wife Sutapa Sikdar alongwith Ishaan. Dhanush to do cameo in Tanu Weds Manu sequel

The sequel to the Kangna Ranaut and R. Madhavan starrer Tanu Weds Manu has been embroiled in quite a bit of controversy with one of the film's financers staking his claim to the film's rights. However, director Anand L. Rai has stood firm asserting that the sequel to the film is very much on the books and happening. Now we hear that the south star Dhanush, who made his Bollywood debut alongside Sonam Kapoor with the film Raanjhanaa, that was incidentally also directed by Rai, will be seen doing a cameo in Tanu Weds Manu sequel. However, though the details of Dhanush's cameo are sketchy, there is a possibility of him either doing small scene or appearing in a song.
