Well it's not just him but popular filmmakers and film foundations globally are planning to get together for this Charlie Chaplin restoration project. Durangpur, who is a part of Cineteca di Bologna which has collaborated with Chaplin Estate to reinstate these film works, believes that it was a huge boost to have Big B on board to promote this project. Preity to do cameo in Saifs Happy Ending

Preity Zinta's last film Ishkq In Paris failed to make an impact at the Box Office. Though she has been off the Bollywood scene for a while, the actress managed to do some interesting cameos in movies like Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna (2009) in the past.

Kahaani sequel hits roadblock

For all those zillion fans of Kahaani who had been mesmerized by Vidya Balan's acting prowess, the news is that your wait for its sequel has just got longer. The reason? Well, the film's director Sujoy Ghosh has reportedly written a letter to co-producer Jayantilal Gada (Cmd, Pen India Pvt. Ltd.), with his set of demands. To start with, Sujoy, besides wanting to become the sole producer of the sequel, also wants Rs. 35 crore for the sequel (which includes Rs. 28 crores as the making cost and Rs. 7 crores for the film's publicity). Besides this, he also wants Pen India to only finance the film and that he should be paid his amount at different steps of the film production as specified by him (viz., pre-production's commencement, post-production and censorship). Nandana Sen ties knot with publishing tycoon John Makinson

Nandana Sen, who was last seen in Jhootha Hi Sahi with John Abraham, recently tied the knot with the Chairman of Penguin Publishers and CEO John Makinson on June 22 in a private ceremony in Shelter Island, U.S.
Nandana was dating producer Madhu Mantena for about nine years and apparently broke up with him in May. She met Makinson in November 2012 and the question was popped in February. Writer-turned-debutant director Shagufta Rafique has ambitious plans for her film (titled Rose), which is based on the theme of a raped housewife. While she hunts for the young woman who plays the part, she may also have to search for the man who would be playing the male lead.

Dinesh Patel, the man who launched Ajay Devgn in Phool Aur Kaante is in a controversy of sorts now. Since he defaulted on his payment to film financier (of the unreleased Benaam starring Ajay Devgn and Sameera Reddy) Vandana Jain, who allegedly claims that Dinesh owes her no less than Rs 1 crore, resulting in his wife Snigdha landing up in Bengaluru Central Jail. Reports have it that Vandana, who had flown to Mumbai with Bengaluru Police, got Snigdha arrested from her Santacruz residence. Strange as it may sound that, instead of Dinesh, it Snigdha who got arrested, because Jain had issued the loan in her name. Sanjay Dutt to help Uttarakhand victims

Despite being jailed, Sanjay Dutt is trying to do his bit for the Uttarakhand victims. While the makers of Policegiri were keen on promoting the film in Dubai, Dutt took this as an opportunity to help the ones in pain. The actor, who was recently imprisoned, wrote a letter to wife Maanyata saying that instead of spending the money on promotions, they should organize a charity event and collect funds for the Uttarakhand flood victims.
