Ryan Reynolds kicks ass and cracks jokes in the Nsfw trailer for X-Men spinoff Deadpool

There's a lot of ass-kicking and joke-cracking in the Nsfw trailer for Ryan Reynolds's X-Men spinoff Deadpool.

The explicit teaser finally had its official release today (August 4) on Conan, after a rapturous Comic-Con International panel audience in mid-July.

An outcry for a public release of the teaser promoted star Reynolds to promise that a teaser would soon see the light of day.

Living up to its R rating, the teaser is filled with expletives, explosions and even some head-slicing violence from the sword-wielding assassin.

Deadpool expands the X-Men film universe by introducing comic favourites like Ajax (Ed Skrein), Weasel (Tj Miller) and Angel Dust (Gina Carano).

Deadpool will finally open in cinemas on February 5, 2016 in the UK and February 12, 2016 in the Us. »

Isle of Wight festival plans Jimi Hendrix world record attempt

The gig was captured by The Buddy Holly Story filmmaker Steve Rash, and includes Hendrix playing classics like 'Hey Joe', 'Voodoo Child (Slight Return)' and 'Purple Haze' against a sky full of fireworks.

Fantastic Four review: Dark and gritty does not suit this Marvel muddle

Director: Josh Trank; Screenwriter: Simon Kinberg, Jeremy Slater, Josh Trank; Starring: Miles Teller, Michael B Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, Toby Kebbell; Running time: 100 mins; Certificate: 12A

It's hard to bring to mind a beloved comic book franchise with a more troubled screen history than The Fantastic Four. Marvel's cosmically-altered foursome make even The Hulk look like a failsafe cinematic prospect by comparison – Roger Corman's famously disastrous 1994 adaptation was never released at all, while Tim Story's 2005 stab made it to screens but was savaged by critics, and exists in our pop culture consciousness now mostly as a punchline.

The ill will towards Josh Trank's reboot has been impossible to ignore if you have any level of engagement with online fan culture, beginning from the very earliest casting announcements and escalating as the rumours of behind-the-scenes turmoil emerged, reaching fever pitch last month as the film's 3D conversion »

When Digital Spy sat down with The Thing himself, Jamie Bell, alongside his co-stars Miles Teller, Kate Mara and Michael B Jordan, you can bet we brought this up.

Watch the video above to see what they had to say, and to hear which X-Men they'd most want to share scenes with in a potential crossover.
