Rich Wilkes che sta preparando la sceneggiatura per il film biopic del gruppo Motley Crue “The Dirt” ha contattato Ashton Kutcher, Sam Rockwell e Jared Leto per interpretare i ruoli rispettivi di Tommy Lee, Mick Mars e Vince Neil nel film. In un in un’intervista ad MTV il co-sceneggiatore Neil Strauss ha rivelato come Wilkes abbia già stilato una lista di stelle che gli piacerebbe vedere interpretare i rocchettari del film. Strass ha spiegato: “Wilkes mi ha detto chi gli piacerebbe avere nel suo film. Ecco come la vede: Brad Pitt nel ruolo di David Lee Roth, Jared Leto come Vince Neil, Jack Black oppure Philip Seymour Hoffman come Ozzy Osbourne...
