The folks over at ScreenRant had an opportunity to speak with Zack Snyder at the Los Angeles premiere of his new film Sucker Punch, where the director revealed that 'Superman' star Henry Cavill is hitting the gym and taking fight training in preparation for playing the Man of Steel.

"Henry is gonna be hitting the iron pretty hard," Snyder said.  

"They've put him on a plan," producer Deborah Snyder added. "He has started in England and as of April 1st we have him full time with us for all that training."

Cavill is getting in shape with the help of Mark Twight, who trained all the actors in 300. Meanwhile, Damon Caro (300 fight choreographer) will be teaching the actor how to fight.

Meanwhile, speaking about the film's visual style, Snyder had this to say:
