Yeah, I know what you're thinking... do we really need yet another chick flick that revolves around a wedding? Isn't this just another Bride Wars or 27 Dresses knockoff? Well, judging by the first trailer, a more apt description seems to be the female-centric version of The Hangover. With a cast that includes Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Jon Hamm, Rose Byrne, Ellie Kemper and Chris O'Dowd, I'm guessing there should be plenty of laughs here for both girls and guys alike. It also helps that this is the latest comedy to fall under the Apatow Productions banner. Bridesmaids is written by Kristen Wiig and her friend Annie Mumolo, and directed by Freaks and Geeks co-creator Paul Feig. Feig's previous feature film projects (Unaccompanied Minors, I Am David) have been a little bit lacklustre, so this is a chance for him to re-establish his comedy cred.
