Golden Globes: ‘Big Little Lies,’ ‘The Shape of Water’ Dominate 2018 Nominees
It’s a good day in Monterey. The fictional, dysfunctional families of HBO’s “Big Little Lies” and the lovable oddballs of Guillermo del Toro’s “The Shape of Water” lead the nominees for the 2018 Golden Globe Awards. Presented early Monday morning by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, “Big Little Lies” dominated the major TV categories with six nominations, including: Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television; Best Supporting actor and actress nods for Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley and Alexander Skarsgard; and Best Actress Drama nominations for its producers and stars Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon.
