Liam Neeson says the Clash Of The Titans sequel will be a major revamp for the franchise.

He has promised fans impressive action scenes as well as a solid human story at its heart.

The Irish actor will reprise his role as Greek god Zeus in the follow-up, to be called Wrath Of The Titans, and says he is excited about it.

Speaking at Sunday's British Independent Film Awards, he said: "I've only read half of the script and there is still some work being done - they're on script 10 - but I think it's going to be some kick-ass stuff and [it will have] a very human story to it."

Liam, who was honoured with The Variety Award at the Moet-sponsored event in London, also revealed when filming is expected to kick off.

"We will start next March. I'm very much looking forward to it. It's a whole revamping, you know," he added. »
