During Tuesday's edition of The O'Reilly Factor, the 66-year-old host responded to Michelle Obama's speech at the Democratic National Convention - in which she noted the nation's history of slave labor - declaring that the slaves who helped build the White House were "well fed and had decent lodgings." "Slaves did participate in the construction of the White House. Records show about 400 payments made to slave masters between 1795 and 1801.
