The Force was not with online movie ticket brokers Monday night, who suffered slow response times or flat-out crashes when “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” tickets came available for presale. Advance tickets were expected to hit the web during halftime of Espn’s “Monday Night Football,” when a new trailer was to be unveiled. The embargo lifted sooner than expected, and word traveled at light-speed. The result was a flood of users jamming platforms like Fandango, MovieTickets.com and individual theater websites like Arclight Cinemas.
