Open Road is moving Oliver Stone’s Snowden from its Christmas Day release date to 2016. The move bumps the film about Edward Snowden, the former government contractor who leaked classified information, from this year’s Oscar race. A spokesperson for Open Road Films did not comment. Sources say the film, which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley, isn’t finished yet. Open Road hasn’t yet determined the film’s new release date.
