It’s safe to say that Will Arnett really likes Netflix, and the feeling appears to be mutual. The streaming service has ordered a new comedy series entitled Flake that was created by and will star the writer/actor. Per The Hollywood Reporter, which broke the story, Flaked is “set in the insular world of Venice, Calif.” and is “the serio-comic story of a self-appointed ‘guru,’ Chip, who falls for the object of his best friend’s fascination. Soon the tangled web of half-truths and semi-bull[crap] that underpins his all-important image and sobriety begins to unravel.” Netflix has ordered eight episode of Flaked, which will be written by Arnett and co-creator Mark Chappell (The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret). Ben Silverman, Peter Principato, and Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz will all serve as executive producers on the series, which will debut on Netlfix, in all territories, in 2016. “We are...
