Leah Reeder was out for a walk with her dog, Ralph, on Sunday when she was suddenly attacked by a black bear in Eastpoint, Florida. "I was down on the ground, and ended up on my face," she told ABC News. "The bear was on my back biting me." The 15-year-old didn't know what to do - so she played dead. The bear backed off and that's when Ralph came to her rescue, barking at the much larger animal until it left his precious owner alone. "I thought it was going to come back but it didn't," she told the Apalachicola Times.
