Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy and Tobey Maguire Sign On for Animal Poaching Film

Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy and Tobey Maguire got together to bring their passion project to the big screen. That project is an untitled Warner Bros movie about illicit animated trafficking. The trio are on board to produce, but are also in talks to star. The movie is being compared to "Traffic" as it dissects the trafficking industry that exploits the global market for illicit parts from slain animals that are used as aphrodisiacs and other ridiculous purposes. The story will take place around the world, tracing supply and demand for animals slain, stripped and sold for fortunes in places like China. The characters range from corrupt executives, to poachers, to others involved in the underbelly of a global scourge that occurs not only in the jungles but also the oceans, where illegal shark fishing runs rampant.
