The lamest show to hit Broadway this season, Lincoln Center Theater’s Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown contains even more wasted talent than last year’s musical flop, The Addams Family. A wasteland of big Broadway performers, film writers and a talented creative team, Women is sadly only on the verge of putting its audiences to sleep. Laura Benanti, a Tony Award winning gem from Gypsy, is the highlight of the show. Justin Guarini, making his Broadway debut after being the runner up on the first season of “American Idol,” is also one of the few highlights. »
