Blair Brown Follows Fringe With Orange Is The New Black

Jenji Kohan’s television adaptation of Piper Kerman’s memoir ‘Orange Is The New Black: My Year In A Women’s Prison’ is something of a phenomenon – and with good reason. Packed with great writing, fearless performances and brilliant direction, the Netflix Original Series burst onto the streaming channel with 13 episodes on July 11 2013, and became an instant hit. A second season of 13 episodes arrived on June 6 2014 and was similarly well-received – bolstered by the announcement of no fewer than 12 Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Season 3 of Orange Is The New Black has been commissioned, and Fringe fan favourite Blair Brown will join the cast.
