As we learned earlier today, X-Men: Days of Future Past is now the highest grossing film of 2014 thus far - just beating out Captain America: The Winter Soldier. These are great times for the comic book movie franchise, and we couldn't be more pumped for the follow up. The problem is that we still have a long while to wait before we actually get to see it. While Marvel Studios is pumping out two movies a year and Warner Bros. is possibly working on three, we still have about two years left to wait until the next X-Men sequel, X-Men: Apocalypse.
