Earlier this week, Guillermo del Toro confirmed a sequel for his 2013 movie, Pacific Rim, as well as an animated series to go along with the "franchise". He also mentioned other later projects he planned on working on, including Justice League Dark. As of late 2012, del Toro began work on Justice League Dark, giving it the working title of “Dark Universe” in January 2013. From then, he has continued work on the project, stating he would finish it after promoting his other movies, such as Pacific Rim and Crimson Peak. However, Del Toro then stated that he was still waiting for approval for the movie from DC and Warner Bros.
