The ankle injury that 71-year-old Harrison Ford suffered on the set of "Star Wars: Episode VII" on Thursday may be slightly more serious than originally thought.

Access Hollywood spoke to Harrison's son, Ben Ford, who says that his father will possibly need a plate and screws put into his ankle which was reportedly hurt by part of a door of the Millennium Falcon at Pinewood Studios.

The younger Ford also speculates that filming could be altered slightly, the crew needing to shoot the older Ford from the waist up until he recovers.

However The Mirror on the other hand believes the actor could be given six to eight weeks off from filming to recover though the schedule would be shifted around to accommodate this.
