Lifetime has ordered a Christmas movie, Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever, according to The Hollywood Reporter. (I figured a grumpy anything‘s worst Christmas would involve being in a Hallmark Channel movie.) The movie will involve a “perpetually overlooked” cat in a pet store and a 12-year-old girl who can communicate with the animal. Casting is underway for the voice of Grumpy Cat.

USA has ordered a second season of Emt comedy Sirens.

Netflix is reviving kids science cartoon The Magic School Bus. The new version will use CGI animation.

In response to the new Magic School Bus show as well as the Reading Rainbow revival, Vulture suggests eight more kids’ shows that deserve a comeback. Those original 3-2-1 Contact episodes are still pretty watchable.
