Jeremy Renner is currently shooting Marvel's Phase Two sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron, but that isn't the only franchise he is involved in, as Universal plans a sequel to 2012's The Bourne Legacy. The busy actor may be adding yet another franchise to his burgeoning slate, revealing in a new interview that he will return for Mission: Impossible 5, reprising his role as William Brandt from the 2011 blockbuster Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.

When asked about the possibility of starring in Season 2 of HBO's True Detective, the actor listed Mission: Impossible 5 as one of the projects he has coming up, which would hinder him from taking a starring TV role.

"It's kind of unlikely. In fact, I'm kind of strapped time-wise doing Avengers 2, and Mission: Impossible 5 is rearing its head, and then they want to do another Bourne movie. It's unlikely I can find the time right now. And that's all right. »
