In a very savvy move from the film’s marketing department, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For got a sexy, Nsfw new poster last week, highlighting the voluptuous Eva Green in a sheer nightgown. As you can imagine, the MPAA didn’t take too kindly to the promo, voicing their disapproval “for nudity—curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.” Of course, the audience for the Sin City sequel isn’t the type to really care about the MPAA – which makes us think that the marketing department knew exactly what they were doing by submitting the poster in the first place.

Though it appeared that the controversy had quieted down once the MPAA realized how much free publicity their disapproval was giving the movie, Green recently gave her take on the whole affair while speaking with Vanity Fair. Of the poster’s reception, »
