The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived at Gold Beach in Normandy, France, on Friday to join the rest of the British royal family in honoring the 70th anniversary of the D-Day invasion. She wore the same blue Alexander McQueen coat that she sported to a Wwi memorial event in New Zealand back in April. She was in France to host a special teatime chat with various veterans. Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, arrived in France on Thursday to kick off memorial events and visit with veterans who fought in France. Earlier in the day, the queen met with President Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and several other world leaders for a special commemorative event to honor the fallen.
