With the No. 1 and No. 2 shows of the night, NBC handily won Tuesday. The network’s America’s Got Talent was the only primetime program to top the 1′s in demo ratings, scoring a 2.8/10 for its two hours. Agt was so dominant it beat combined competition that included ABC Extreme Weight Loss (1.1/4), CBS’ NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles repeats (1.0/4), and Fox’s Riot (0.4/2) and I Wanna Marry ‘Harry’ (0.4/1) combo. Agt retained 93% of previous week’s 3.0 premiere rating, and finished within 0.2 of a point of last year’s second episode, which had aired later in primetime in order to enjoy a The Voice lead-in.
