If this latest rumor is true, Marvel is doing a little house-cleaning as of late as Latino Review reports (and THR confirms) Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods,) who was attached to write and serve as showrunner for Marvel's "Daredevil" series at Netflix, will now only serve as a "consultant". This news comes one day after Marvel announced Edgar Wright would not direct their Ant-Man film, a film Wright had been attached to for eight years and was only months away from starting production. Steven S. DeKnight is finalizing a deal to take over as showrunner on "Daredevil" with no word on Goddard's contribution to the script. While rumors involving Wright's departure are running rampant (a recent script revision appearing to be the most popular reason), Goddard's exit from "Daredevil" actually makes far more sense considering he's attached to write and direct The Sinister Six for Columbia Pictures, perhaps »
