The 2014 Cannes Film Festival announces its selection of films

One of the most prestigious festivals on the film circuit is the Cannes Film Festival. Over the years, numerous films that have made their premiere at the festival have gone on to critical acclaim and awards, including Pulp Fiction, Apocalypse Now, Dancer In The Dark, and The Tree Of Life.Over the years, this had led to the announcement of which films will be screening at the festival to become important on its own, as many film fans around the world are curious to know which filmmakers will choose to make their premieres at the festival. With the 2014 incarnation of the festival set to get underway on May 14th, the official selection that will be screening at the 11-day event has now been released. Opening the festival will be Oliver Dahan’s Grace of Monaco, starring Nicole Kidman. Other entries include Sils Maria, an Oliver Assayas film starring Juliette Binoche and Kristen Stewart,
