Justin Long made a surprising revelation in a recent interview with Newsday, that Johnny Depp is starring in his upcoming indie horror film Tusk.

"Yeah, the one where a man turns into a war horse. It's called Tusk. Johnny Depp is in that one."

This is the first we've heard about the actor being cast in director Kevin Smith's movie. The story follows Justin Long's character, a journalist who lands the story of a lifetime when he meets Mr. Howe (Michael Parks), an adventurer who has a strange penchant for walruses. Genesis Rodriguez, Haley Joel Osment and Ralph Garman co-star.

Johnny Depp's role has not been confirmed, but The Wrap speculates that he may be playing a French-Canadian inspector named Guy Lapointe, who investigates a strange case involving a man trapped in a walrus costume. Kevin Smith had previously hinted that he wants a major movie star for the role, »
