Crisis is to air on Watch in the UK from later this year.

The new 13-part NBC drama - starring Gillian Anderson and Dermot Mulroney - follows an abduction of the children of Washington DC's powerful elite.

Former X-Files actress Anderson plays the role of Meg Fitch, the CEO of a corporation and whose daughter is one of those abducted, and Mulroney stars as ex-cia field operative Francis Gibson.

Watch general manager Steve Hornsey said: "Watch brings its audience another irresistible UK premiere. Crisis is an exciting and original conspiracy thriller full of unexpected plot twists.

"It captures the current enthusiasm for political intrigue in a fast-paced and dramatic character story, brought to life by a fantastic ensemble cast."

Also in the cast are Rachael Taylor as Meg's estranged sister and Lance Gross as Agent Marcus Finley.

Rand Ravich - creator of Damian Lewis drama Life - is behind Crisis. »
