As per Deadline, Relativity has acquired U.S. distribution rights to Somnia, which Flanagan wrote with Oculus collaborator Jeff Howard. The company has committed to a wide release for the film in the near future.

Somnia revolves around an orphaned child whose dreams – and nightmares – manifest physically as he sleeps.

Kate Bosworth, Thomas Jane, Annabeth Gish, Jacob Tremblay, and Dash Mihok star.

The film is produced by Trevor Macy, Sam Englebardt, and William D. Johnson.
