Sky1 has acquired the rights to Josh Holloway's new Us TV drama Intelligence.

The broadcaster will air the high-tech spy thriller - also starring Meghan Ory and Marg Helgenberger - from April 17.

Intelligence stars former Lost star Holloway as Gabriel Vaughn, an Nsa agent with a microchip implanted in his brain.

The chip allows Vaughn to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum, giving him the ability to tap into electronic databases, manipulate computer systems and more.

Ory plays his partner Riley Neal, while CSI veteran Helgenberger is the pair's boss Lillian Strand.

Adam MacDonald, Director of Sky1 HD, said: "I'm delighted to be bringing this high-tech, breathlessly paced, exciting thriller to Sky1 HD exclusively in the UK."

Intelligence airs on CBS in the Us. The series premiered to 16.5m viewers in January, but its 13th episode and first season finale pulled in just 5.6m in March.
