Cheech & Chong to Light Up the Screen Again After 30-Year Absence

It's been more than 30 years since they've appeared together on the big screen, and now stoner comedy duo Cheech & Chong are planning on lighting up (cinemas) again.

In an interview with Celeb Stoner, Tommy Chong revealed that he and partner Cheech Marin were working on a new Cheech & Chong concept with "Super Troopers" director Jay Chandrasekhar. The pair will star in the film, which is set at a fictional music festival.

"He's working on a script right now for us," Chong told the site of their collaboration with Chandrasekhar. "We've had some preliminary meetings. It looks really good. It looks really funny. It's about us going to a festival called the Burning Joint. All sorts of shenanigans happen. It's going to be a lot of fun."
