Here is a first look at a member of the Batman DC universe from Fox‘s Batman prequel series Gotham. Warner Bros TV has released this image of Donal Logue as Gotham City Police Detective Harvey Bullock. Gotham explores the origin stories of Commissioner James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) as an idealistic rookie detective in Gotham City and the rogues’ gallery of villains that made the city infamous. Bullock is Gordon’s rough-around-the-edges partner and mentor. This is the second unshaven, trench coat-wearing DC comic book detective we’ve seen this pilot season, along with NBC’s John Constantine, played by Matt Ryan in the Wbtv-produced pilot (see him here). Just like Constantine, Bullock has been stripped of his smoking habit in his transition from comics to TV, with no sign of his trademark cigar. We have yet to get a glimpse of Gotham’s lead character Gordon. »
