Arrow Films Takes U.K. Rights to Philip Seymour Hoffman Pic ‘God’s Pocket’
London — Arrow Films has taken all U.K. rights to John Slattery’s feature directorial debut “God's Pocket,” which stars the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment picked up foreign rights to the pic at Sundance. IFC Films is handling U.S. distribution.

Arrow, whose recent theatrical titles include “Love Is All You Need,” “The Hunt” and “A Hijacking,” plans to release the film later this year.

Electric’s head of international distribution Sonia Mehandjiyska negotiated the deal with Tom Stewart, acquisitions director for Arrow.

“The film stands as a great example of just what a wonderful actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was, and to see such a rich ensemble cast perform at the top of their game alongside him provides a fitting testament to the late star,” Stewart said.

The film also stars Richard Jenkins, Christina Hendricks, John Turturro and Caleb Landry Jones.
